Shred Beer Company is easily a standout small brewery in Northern California, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The taproom is a fantastic place to hang out—welcoming, laid-back, and always buzzing with good energy—whether you’re there for trivia nights, catching a game on the big screens, or just relaxing with friends (and dogs are welcome too!). The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly love helping you find the perfect beer to match your taste. With award-winning beers flowing on tap, great options to take home, and gift-worthy selections for friends, Shred Brewing absolutely nails both quality and atmosphere.

I've been to Shred about 4-5 times now. At first, it was a little tough accepting this new spot for Brewer Zach, especially after he left the old place across town that we all loved. But honestly, I'm totally over that now and super stoked on Shred!

The beers are just amazing! All SDG (so damn good). They've got a solid mix: a few hazies, a couple of west coast IPAs, a couple lighter lagers, and maybe a stout or two. Honestly, I could easily drink one of everything on their board--it's like 12-16 beers and they all kill it.

The taproom is awesome--there's three different areas inside and tons of outdoor seating. There's a big TV, a couple of pinball machines, and even some skateboards hanging on the walls for decoration. They've got plenty of cans to-go, and you can grab chips and salsa too. On weekends, there's usually a food truck outside.

The bartenders? Always great--super friendly and clearly happy to be there, which just makes the experience even better. Totally recommend checking it out!

Good beer spot. Sucks I'm missing their 2nd year anniversary. The stout they just dropped was 🔥🔥.

If you are into IPAs then this is the place for you! Out of 12 beers available, 10 are IPAs. Wish they would branch out and try some other varieties. But I will say that their Mexican Lager is quite good!

Some of the best beer in the Sacramento area. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Love the beer and the area! Shred is such a great spot to chill and enjoy a quality brew. I had an awesome beer there and the vibe was just right. Can’t wait to see them at the Rocklin Brewfest this year—definitely one of my favorites. Love Shred

Great space. Solid beer. Best of all was the young lady tending the bar. She was awesome 1/12/25. We'll certainly be back.
