An above average sandwich shop. The bread is phenomenal, but the sandwich fillings leave me hungry... and that was after paying for extra beef with my French Dip. If you are a sourdough fanatic, you will like this place; just don't expect a large portion...

This place is wonderful! Today was my first day eating here and I was pleasantly surprised by the extremely friendly staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The best part, of course, was the delicious sandwich on their great sourdough with their house spread! One of my new favorite spots!

Obviously newer ownership from older reviews.Excellent sandwiches and service. Very nice shop, of course takes longer than subway because they do a good job making sandwiches. I recommend!

i came here during lunch on a tuesday afternoon & there wasn't a line. the staff is very friendly & are open to answering any questions. i ordered the pesto turkey w/o tomatoes and it was so good!! i sat down and ate inside & they have so many tables and also tables outside. i definitely recommend this place.

Today I had the pleasure of having a Pastrami Sandwich that included the Wonderful Sourdough Bread at Sourdough & Company. They included an especially generous portion of pastrami meat in the sandwich. I found the Pastrami Sandwich to be most delicious. The staff, the food, the service and the atmosphere were all wonderful. So much so, that I gave 5 stars in every measured category ………………….……I would like this to be a one-hundred-percent positive review. Because, I would like to see this business do well in our community. ……………………However, and unfortunately, there is an issue that probably won't bother many people but it does bother me. I am a 73 year old thin-skinned senior citizen. The interior and the tables look beautiful however, the chairs are hard metal. For me, it's like sitting on a granite rock. I do not have much padding on my rear or my back, so I need to have a padded chair.I suggest to management that they consider having the seats and the backs of their chairs thickly padded well. Having uncomfortable chairs gives off the impression they don't want one to dine at the table but take everything to go or perhaps don't want people to stay very long. I'm certain that's not the intention and I'm certain that no one is aware of a situation like mine. So, I hope someone in management gets the hint of this and gets some padding on the backs and seats of the chairs then providing a comfortable dining experience to go along with the very nice atmosphere and friendliness that one experiences at Sourdough & Company.

sooo i placed an order online (through doordash) i picked it up and went home. i had half of the sandwhich when i first got home. then i had the other half for dinner. when i grabbed my second half to eat i took a few bites until what felt like a hair was in my mouth... i spit out my food and looked to find a black LONGGGG hair in my sandwich.... I have brown/blond hair so i knowwww this was not even a chance it was my own. not only that the sandwiches are cut in half after being wrapped a first time then wrapped again. so if the hair was inside the half it had to have been there before the sandwhich was cut. then wrapped again. this is absolutely foul. i have a fear of hair being in my food, needless to say i'll never be back to this store.

Everyone smiling and friendly but too focused on each other. The customer is ALWAYS supposed to come first. It doesn't take that long to make a sandwich but when you can't work and talk at the same time it makes it take FOREVER. I watched the lady that made my sandwich finish her conversation while holding the bag with my food in it. I'll go back ONE MORE TIME to see if the customer service improves. If it doesn't I'll be going to Panera instead in the future.

What a GOOD SANDWICH!!! Sweet couple who seem to have bought a chain and are taking sandwich making seriously, so be patient with them, TRUST you're gonna get a good sandwich. And if you actually live in Rocklin, visit them more! I'd share a picture of the sandwich, but we ate it too fast.

Made sandwiches 30 minutes before end of pickup time, asked for extra money when arrived because online ordering website has “old prices”… Wow?!? Should have made food when scheduled so it’s not a soggy mess, and the food should have been given for amount paid via online ordering. Fix your website if pricing is wrong, that’s not the customers fault it’s yours, sourdough. I should have asked for my gratuity back because you didn’t deserve it.

Good sandwiches, good soup. Priced a bit high, but what isn't these days? Right off the highway.

Love the French dip!! Come here often. More in the summer, because there's not really a warm place to sit when it's cold out.
