What a fun novelty to be served food in a movie theater! Be aware... if you order liquor, it will come out thirty minutes after your food order. I need liquid to eat food so my food got cold while I waited for my drink, and we ended up having to go elsewhere to eat after the movie. I did advise an employee who came to take my food away that I hadn't received a drink yet so I hadn't been able to eat. She just walked away and nothing happened as a result of telling her that.It just would be nice for food and beverage to show up together. This has been my experience both times I have eaten here so it seems to be consistently how they operate. Otherwise, a nice experience but if the food/drink isn't what you're into its the same as any other theater.

Always a nice time at this place. Tuesdays are great for the family due to the reduced ticket prices. TJ is always in a great mood and super nice when serving. Food comes out when ready and usually not all at the same time like a regular restaurant which makes sense because food is always better when served timely. Full bar here too so you can order any drink you would like. They have a solid 2 person menu also. Hard to go wrong with smg.
Went to the Rocklin, CA Studio Movie Grill theatre last night to see new Ghostbusters movie. We chose the two seats by themselves and the stairway was partially obstructing our view. Total bummer. Ordered popcorn which is served cold. Cold popcorn is not very good! Change your cold popcorn service Studio Movie Grill! Ordered pepperoni pizza which was not cut and salad that stated mixed greens but served with Iceburg lettuce which is not as described. Very unhappy about our food and the obstructed view was such a bummer.

I have attended the Rocklin CA Studio Movie Grill since it opened, and I very much enjoyed going. Still, in the past couple of years, the quality of food and choices has diminished, and paying restaurant prices and being told that they don't offer menus and that I should use my phone is insulting. I also noticed the seats are in disrepair, and the floor looks worn out. I think it is time they close for a couple of weeks and remodel and bring back the reason to patronize them.

Very comfortable seats. A great date night experience. I like being able to purchase seats online and choose where you want to sit. Food is better than you would expect for this environment. Not like in a good restaurant but good. Service was great as well.
