I stopped in today and ordered a Large Black Milk Tea with Crystal Boba. There was only one other group ahead of me, and two people working behind the counter, yet it still took about 20-30 minutes to get my drink -- a bit slow in my opinion.
While waiting, I noticed on my receipt that my order was incorrect, so I had to flag down one of the staff to fix it. They corrected it, but it didn't leave the best impression.
As for the drink itself, the tea flavor wasn't very strong, and the crystal boba wasn't perfectly round, though it tasted fine overall. Not the worst experience, but definitely room for improvement in both speed and accuracy.

I typically go with a taro milk tea, but the owner was very patient and knowledgeable about the different teas. Based on his recommendation, I tried the oolong tea, which did not disappoint!
I generally like boba teas, but to go to an Independence run place adds a whole other level of personality to the teas! I'd be looking forward to coming back again

I had such high hopes for this place! Every other one is good. The consistency is off. You go one day and then the next and get the same thing and it’ll be totally different. The smoothies are watered down flavors. That’s not a fun gamble for a $8 drink.
