The Blue Parrot lounge

Great date night location, the interior is very small and intimate. Quiet, great music, and service. They were out of many entrees and we arrived at 7:00, however the dining experience was very nice. Drinks were on point, the owner was kind enough to refresh them, on the house, which was generous. Sacramento and the surrounding areas need more lounges like the Blue Parrot!

Wow-what a special find... must be experienced to appreciate. Perfect for a romantic night. Excellent service. Small and intimate setting —need reservations. Must order food.

This was our first time dining at the BPL, but won't be our last! The service, the food, the atmosphere...all perfection. Our entire party all agreed this became our new favorite spot, what a hidden gem!

It really doesn't get any better! Suzanne the proprietor and Co-host Remington provide a one of a kind experience for guests at the Parrot. From the moment you walk in you will know that it is going to be a different kind of experience. The ambiance is red velvet straight out of the 50's. Suzanne and Remington greet you like family coming to visit. The food is off the charts! The menu changes frequently enough to keep it fresh, but if the sliders are available, they are a must. Do yourself a favor and make reservations!!! You can sometimes get away with a drop in but I don't recommend it. Suzanne seemingly goes out of her way to prepare for every guest so planning in advance goes a long way. Hope to see you there!

We hadn't been to The Blue Parrot for a while. Life.... But we returned Thursday evening and were thrilled it's still the delightful place we remember. Wonderful, friendly staff! The wines offered are not the typical ones offered in most area establishments. The food was very good. And the ambience is so fine with the speakeasy vibe. And if you're looking for a date night venue, TBP will not disappoint!

Came into the Blue Parrot Lounge on a Friday night for the first time. I ordered the Wagyu Sliders and Goat Cheese with Crackers, as well as a glass of Prosecco and Chardonnay. The vibes here are really neat, with an old Hollywood atmosphere and music. It’s a small restaurant so would certainly recommend booking a reservation! The service was just okay though, with it taking 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out after ordering them. The food and drinks are also on the more expensive side, so I’m not sure if I will be coming back in the future.

Shared Herbed Salmon and Strawberry Champagne Cake and they were outstanding. Carlos was a pleasure chatting with. We expect to eat early on Friday evenings at least once a month now.

Our experience coming here was outstanding. We loved the customer service and Suzanne and Remington were fabulous and he really made our first experience so wonderful. The vibe and music is amazing too and the food is really delicious . We will 100% be back soon and bring our adult daughter too..

I rarely write reviews but absolutely had to after having the most delicious dinner for our date night. The atmosphere is completely chill and sexy at the same time. Remington was an amazing staff member and we loved hearing his stories. We will absolutely be back.

Wrapped in a cozy ambiance, the venue’s soulful renditions of timeless jazz standards were only matched by the exceptional and personable service delivered by Carlos—known to many as Remington—making for an unforgettable evening. I absolutely love it and will return!! Thank you!!
