We absolutely loved the ambiance of this lounge. They have a wonderful selection of wine. The food was amazing and it was not noisy. They have great Jazz music playing which added to the comfortable atmosphere. The service was very attentive and polite.

Enjoyed our first visit to the BPL. Busy as it was Valentine’s Day so we had a reservation for bar seating. Plus: easy parking attentive service, friendly staff all around, good food & drinks, pairing selections on menu (Cab & Steak, Chardonnay & Salmon), recommendations by waiter, ambiance, clear attention to detail and the desire to deliver something special. Delta: while cozy, this place is a little tight for my own elbow room requirements (excuse me, pardon me), no full bar, a bit surprised at their ala carte approach and my $46 ribeye didn’t come with anything but a plate; this isn’t Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. Love the effort and the attention to detail shows, but you shouldn’t expect to pay these prices in an offbeat strip mall if your steak can’t be served with an old fashioned. Although the BPL may be a bit bougie for their own britches, I’ll be back with renewed expectations now that I know where they shine.

The ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly, but that's where the pros end. The cost of everything does NOT align with the quantity or quality. I ordered shrimp scampi which is normally shrimp and pasta, but I was brought 3 pieces of shrimp in a scampi sauce and was charged $14 for it! My husband ordered the chicken piccata for $26 and a side of mashed potatoes for $7. The chicken was a thin slab covered in a sauce of pure salt and the mashed potatoes were cold and the portion was the size of two spoonfuls. We ordered two cocktails which we waited 20 minutes for and pretty much came right before our “dinner.” I ordered an espresso martini for a whopping $24 and it just tasted like cold coffee with creamer. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning.

This place never disappoints!! Its one of my favorite date night spots. Everytime we go, it seems to get better and better. The owner has a full menu and has come up with some more yummy dishes with reasonable pricing. Im so glad this place is doing well, it was quite busy last night but was still very quaint and romantic.

Reservation for 2 on a Friday night. We were stuck in traffic, called the restaurant and they were able to push us back 15 minutes. Ambiance was giving us a New York vibe. Lounge music, red velvet chairs, classic celebrity pictures on the wall. Not cheesy at all. Service was fantastic. Seated right away. Drinks came quickly. Food arrived early and hot. Our server gave great recommendations as it was our first time. Drinks ordered Hola senor lager French white linen Both were amazing. Crispy and tasty. Food ordered Scallops and shrimps Wagyu sliders Black out cake Highly recommend all! Food was cooked perfectly. We can't wait to return and try other entrees and other drinks. So glad we found this place via Yelp. You would never knock it existed given its location. So cute.

Didn't bring something else we ordered. When we said not to order it, he still did but it didn't come as a described on the menu. Three of us was close to $300 before tip. Would expect better wait staff at this price. We ordered appetizers 1 bottle of wine and 2 glasses of wine. Will still enjoy the Blue Parrot and hopefully the service will be up to the standards it should be.

A quiet place for adults to enjoy conversation and intimate dining. The braised beef was deliriously delicious - service, likewise excellent. Red velvet seating, jazz and rat-pack ambiance, excellent wines and beer, and the owner on site ensuring that you're taken care of. This place is definitely a throw-back. I highly recommend it.

The best place to have a glass of fine wine....in a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The wines are selected by the owner and the food menu is curated perfectly to compliment the wine. A real gem.

Very cool and totally unexpected. Do NOT let the location in a strip mall fool you. The inside was a totally wonderful surprise. We went with a group of six. Because the place is small, for a larger group definitely make a reservation. Even for two, I'd still recommend making a reservation.
