I agree with other reviews, what a great find. It has a fun vibe. Staff are very welcoming. The happy hour menu was all that was available at the time, the select is small but very adequate. The food is creative, fresh and delicious! Going back with the hubs.

Edit: Went back with the hubs. Tried the pesto fries and Ruben (? can't remember the exact name) thinking they were a little different. The egg rolls were ok, I could have or pass. The fries were off the hook, we thought about licking the plate. Hubs had the hamburger, thought it was one of the best burgers he's had. My aunt and I had the short ribs and they were devine, the sides complemented the ribs well and the fresh spinach was so flavorful. And as if we weren't full enough, who can pass on a bacon grease brownie with vanilla ice cream with a caramel drizzle? Not us. It did not sound good but the look in our server's eye said something else. With just a hint of bacon, it was absolutely delicious!

The Chefs table is one of those special places you don’t find very often. I have so many good things to say about this place. It’s a total family vibe from the employees to the ambiance to the music and the way you get treated. Everyone (I mean everyone) who walks by you checks to make sure you have everything you need. They really care about your experience and taking care of you. We went in during peak hours on Saturday night and were told a 45 minute wait, we were offered cocktails while we waited so that was awesome. Got seated after about 30 minutes (the place was jumping so this was pretty fast). And the food was incredible. We had the egg rolls and beet salad to start, finished with the Caribbean pork shank and romanesco risotto. The cocktails were delicious and strong in the right way, not too much. Everything was absolutely 10/10 delicious. We can’t wait to come back!!! Great job everyone at Chefs table.

Incredible food, great staff, only negative is it's so popular you need a reservation. Easy enough to make one though...

Edit 2024: this is our go to place. We've been going for years now, and only one time did I have something that was just good... So the other times the food is exceptional.

I always describe this place as pompous food without the pompous portions or atmosphere. Staff and owners are just cool and down to earth. Solid portions that you'll probably over eat with how good everything is.

I've never liked bread pudding in my life, but oddly I've never not ordered it when here.

Only negative now is they don't take reservations, so best to get there early...

First time visit. We're here from Kansas City home of the Super Bowl Chiefs. 45 minute wait. Well worth it. We had three people serving us. Nick was great. Beet salad presentation was picturesque and excited many taste buds. Never had shishito peppers. What a pleasant surprise. The burger, the fillet and the lamb chop was cook to perfection and treated our eyes and mouth to a wonderful meal!
