We stopped in for dinner last night, our first time, and it was hands down the best meal we've had since living in CA. The reuben egg rolls were mouthwatering, to say the least. We also brought our daughters with us, and you accommodated to them, so well. Thank you again! We will be back.

Not impressed. The food was not great. You’d think for the price you’re paying the burger patty would not be frozen. Service wasn’t great either. No one greeted you and everyone tried to avoid eye contact. No one took our order. We had to wave them down. Will not return. Don’t understand the rave reviews.

Great back ground music. All food there is impeccable. As a bonus, watching the owners banter is worth going by itself.

The tacos were amazing! Surprisingly the burger with peanut butter and jelly spread was pretty good too but my favorite would be the tacos! Very filling and delicious.

Great restaurant in Rocklin! Had the “Everything Burger”
probably the best burger I’ve ever had! And the pesto fries are a MUST. Well worth the price, was rather busy and I understand why. A definite must try if you’re in the area!

Our favorite place to hang, eat, and celebrate! All the food is consistently amazing. We order everything - and it is always awesome. Difficult to pick a favorite. The menu changes seasonally - and they are always changing the menu up with new things to try!

Judging from the constant stream of people and the line to get a table, this is a very "hot" local spot. Amazingly, we were seated immediately at the bar. That was a show in and of itself because the bartenders were constantly in motion, but also took the time to chat with the folks sitting there. Very friendly place. They have about 20 beers on tap and a full bar. The food was excellent. I had the fried chicken with gravy and garlic mashed potatoes. My wife had the burger with bacon fig jam, brie and a huge pickle. Both were delicious. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.

I love beet salad, and my husband ordered this for me. Not even one beet! What is this? I love the beet salad at Season's 52, but this is just garbage for $17!

The setting in a shopping mall fools you. Chef’s is situated in a local shopping mall. It's not a beautiful setting, but it fools you. We came here for my birthday on Guy Fawk Day, November 5. Chef’s Table is a great independent restaurant. No reservations are made here. it's first come first serve. It can get crowded and waiting can be lumpy. Best plan is to go early, or very late on a weeknight. We came right at opening time and got seated immediately on this Tuesday night. They have all male servers here, and our waiter was Brahm. A cheerful guy with a sense of humor he took care of us from start to finish. My pal and I had a beer. Then we got serious. Friend Tom brought a 1L bottle of Cabernet Savignon from Paso Robles. Corkage fee is a decent $15 for each 0.75 L bottle at this classy restaurant. Before we were through, we enjoyed some oyster shooters, pumpkin risotto, pesto fries, and our main entrĂ©es. Everything was wonderful, and the attentive service made it even better. My best friend, a well traveled connoisseur, said the oysters were the best he ever had. They live up to their reputation, farm to table freshness. The menu is a single piece of stationary changes regularly, keeping pace with the updated offerings. It's a pleasant environment. It's a bit pricier than your average dinner house, but well worth the price.

Had checked out the reviews and decided to give this establishment a try. I Chose Wisely! Even though there was a line of folks waiting to get in, I was able to get seated in less than 15 minutes. The staff was very professional and super friendly. They answered all questions and had spot-on suggestions. They have a fabulous collection of beers on tap to complement their full bar and ample wine selection. The food was wonderful. My pork shank was perfectly cooked and the rice and greens were nothing short of amazing. I did not leave a single grain on my plate, yummmmy! This place is a MUST! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I agree with other reviews, what a great find. It has a fun vibe. Staff are very welcoming. The happy hour menu was all that was available at the time, the select is small but very adequate. The food is creative, fresh and delicious! Going back with the hubs.

Edit: Went back with the hubs. Tried the pesto fries and Ruben (? can't remember the exact name) thinking they were a little different. The egg rolls were ok, I could have or pass. The fries were off the hook, we thought about licking the plate. Hubs had the hamburger, thought it was one of the best burgers he's had. My aunt and I had the short ribs and they were devine, the sides complemented the ribs well and the fresh spinach was so flavorful. And as if we weren't full enough, who can pass on a bacon grease brownie with vanilla ice cream with a caramel drizzle? Not us. It did not sound good but the look in our server's eye said something else. With just a hint of bacon, it was absolutely delicious!

Note: Arrive EARLY or be prepared to wait (it's worth it),
