Its Mel's, its always decent
Wonderful 50's style diner. Awesome burgers and shakes.
The owners and employees are always very friendly and treat you like family
Friendly service. Great food and nostalgic music that goes along with the dining experience. I'm starting to become a regular here. Highly recommended.
Great service and great staff
Here In the area for work, on Sundays, this is the spot to be! Great food and AMAZING people!
Good Diner, food is always fresh cooked, service is pretty good too. One of my favorite places for breakfast.
We hadn't been to Mel’s for a half dozen years so it was time to return. We came on a rainy morning, were greeted and seated immediately. The brightly lighted interior was crowded on a Sunday morning. Tami, a cheerful and experienced waitress, greeted us and got our beverage orders right away. Wife ordered from the side dishes: a poached egg, and hashbrowns. She wasn't real happy with her runny egg, and the iced tea was so weak it was it was more like tea-flavored water. My order, a 2 x 2 special, included a pair of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I had no complaints. My coffee cup was kept full. Mel’s has an American graffiti theme, neon signs splashing color everywhere. The walls are covered with memorabilia. Wife thought it would be the cleaning person’s challenge to keep it immaculate. They even had a little jukeboxes at each table. I wondered if any music could be heard over the dull roar of a crowded restaurant. They offer franchises and this may be one, for all I know. It's a good location and recommended eatery.
Very clean place, turkey platter & cornbread was very good, lemon meringue pie exceptional !! Cute small jukeboxes at each booth. This diner is worth visiting 😀.
Everything was great.

Got right in, sever was prompt with taking our drink orders. Once we got the drinks she got our food orders. My son ordered the Wolfman Jack breakfast and asked for french toast instead of the pancakes. He was told they can't do that. He has my had that done on previous visits there? That's poor customer service. I ordered salad as a side. Got it two minutes before the entrees came. More training needed there. Had iced tea. Never was asked for a refill. Other than that the food was good.

We came in with a party of 14 and they were able to accommodate on a Saturday around 5 pm. Ashley was a wonderful server and took great care of us even though we had 4 kids being their loud rambunctious toddler selves. I had the Crispy Chicken Parmesan sandwich with the Garlic fries. The food was delicious, although the garlic fries were a little soggy. But thats normal since they are tossed in garlic sauce and parmesan. The kids chicken fingers were flavorful and my kids loved the little car trays that the food comes in.
