I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place deserves it.Service was prompt and courteous. The server clearly knew the menu well and she made recommendations to us and accommodations for us. We were in a group, but she provided separate tickets. She didn’t hover, but was watchful when we needed refills of their truly delicious green tea and boxes at the end of our meal.There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The lunch special is chicken teriyaki. A large serving of grilled chicken comes with white rice, a green salad, and your choice of potstickers or sushi roll. The chicken was grilled and served without sauce. Bottles of teriyaki, soy and sriracha were on the table so we could season our plate as we liked. Everyone was pleased with their choice and there were three clean plates at our table.Though this place is in a small strip mall across from Sierra College, it was very quiet inside. An absolute must for us aging diners!My ticket was $20, which is about in line with lunch specials these days and considering the generosity of the servings. Planning to return to try the fish!

I can't believe I haven't left a review of Tokyo D yet. Tokyo D has been a staple of the area for good reason. I have been coming here since high school and it's still a go to for me and my family. Used to come here with friends in college before going out, now I come here for family dinners. The staff are super friendly and warm, the beer is cold, and the food is bomb. It's perfect.

We ordered the Chirashi and Nigiri combo and they were off the hook delicious. The Korean Ramyun was savory and perfect. The ZigZag handroll was amazing and large. We just moved here to Sac and have been searching for fresh, affordable, and delicious sushi. This is the place. Five star for service and freshness.

HIGH quality Meat!By far the best Chineese food I’ve ever had. We did not order any sushi but we were in the mood for Chow mien. We ordered the Vegetable and Noodle dish with added chicken along with another dish called Honey Spicy Chicken. These dishes were superb. The meat alone sets this Restaurant above all others. Not a single piece of chicken had fat on it and the quality was excellent. A must dine and please confirm the quality of meat!! Enjoy.
