Wife and I went for lunch today, we had the seaweed salad, ebi nigiri, spciy California roll, ocean roll and dragon roll. The food was very fresh and each item tasted great. Most sushi places I go to all rolls taste the same. This was not the case at Tokyo express. We will be back.

Quick lunch! Gluten free soy sauce. Chef knowledgeable about gluten free. Prepared a delicious roll with a crab substitition to make it safe. Delicious!!!!!
This place is phenomenal! Went there for the first time and was blown away by their service and the food. Our server was beyond kind and bowed and thanked us every time he left our table. Such a sweet guy. Everything was so fresh and tasted exquisite. I got the Lion King roll and a California roll. My boyfriend got spicy teriyaki beef. We will absolutely be back to try more. Salmon teriyaki is next on my list.

I have probably left all of five reviews in my life and they have all been because I had a positive experience. I decided a long time ago that if I had a bad experience at a restaurant, I would just not go back. But after spending $68 for a few items to take home for my wife and I and discovering that it was all in edible because after taking a few bites, we both started feeling queasy and realized there was something wrong with it. Imagine if the worst fast food restaurant you have ever been to decided to open a teriyaki sushi place, and you get a good idea of the results we experienced. We ordered the Thai chicken and the honey spicy chicken, as well as calamari, potstickers, and a spicy garlic edamame. I don’t have the stomach to go into the description of each item, but suffice it to say that the food was old and smelled like it and not only will we never return, but I will make sure I tell all of our friends and neighbors to spare themselves and spend their money elsewhere. this place feels like a warm hug! the service is so wonderful, food is incredible, pricing is fair, and the atmosphere is so comforting. there was also a kind gentleman (owner / chef?) who opened the door for us and greeted us so warmly. the woman who served us (the owner i presume) was the sweetest and loveliest lady with the best customer service. i will be recommending this place to all of my friends and will be back soon!
