A traditional coffee shop with a counter and booths. Very homey. Definitely not a chain restaurant.

We’ve gone to Flippys 4 times. We walked inside and were not greeted at the door, the owner looked away from us despite us saying hello. We picked a table and waited for 20 minutes and nobody came to take our order and the servers refused to look in our direction. We left and, again, were met with silence. Not even acknowledging potential customers sets a negative precedent. We won’t be back.

Hours listed are 630-2, I was informed they don’t open til 7 upon arrival.

I LOVE finding little out of the way cafés and Flippys is a perfect example.

The service was wonderfully friendly and exuberant which we really enjoyed! The food hit the nail on the head for us this morning, extra points for really great coffee. I 100% recommend that you support small local cafes and turn away from chain restaurants and the like. Go visit Flippy's, you will not regret it!

Their hash browns and bacon were very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the restaurant was very clean, no sticky table, sauce splashes on the walls, or dust on the window sills! We will definitely eat there again.

Came to visit and stopped for a killer breakfast. Crispy hash browns and sausage was excellent , bacon was excellent and service was excellent. All condiments were provided in to go order. A definite stop for breakfast!!!!

Ordered the French Dip for 14$. Unseasoned and dry meat. There were no onions, no cheese that comes with the sandwhich. So you are literally paying 14$ for dry sliced meet in a toasted bun. The au jus was nothing to write home about. Just order a burger or a breakfast burrito instead.

Girlfriend ordered French toast also for 15$. The French toast was just very bland. Sides were standard (I would say the bacon was underwhelming but I would be beating a dead horse) I guess I wouldn’t mind these options but the price point is ridiculous for the quality. Just go to Mel’s Diner.
