Sam is your guy to get the job done right. I was charged with getting lunch for a working group of 55 people and had to wait until the morning of the event to provide Sam with the final 30 or so orders. I had reached out to him well in advance, and gave him the initial half of the order several days before the day of the lunch. He was patient, kind, and made sure he had all the necessary details to get the order done right. When the working group finally gathered in person the morning of the lunch, I got an additional 30 orders to send to Sam. Not only did he finish the entire order less than 2 hours later, but he ended up individualizing everyone's order and made special effort for the Vegan and Vegetarian requests. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Sam will make your big order a breeze for you, and work hard to get the order completed on time and in an orderly fashion. I came across this deli while in town for work thanks to a Google search, and I'm so glad I did. Don't let the location deceive you - it's where it says it is, promise. Three days, three different dishes, all as wonderful as the owner. Not only does the food speak for itself, but Sam is a genuinely nice guy and remembered me AND what I planned to order each time. Very tasty dishes, including great hummus, unusual sides like pickled turnips ( interesting!), spanakopita ( i left it too long covered in the warm oven and it got soggy…best to leave it uncovered )…friendly and helpful owner.

It isn't very often that I truly believe that any restaurant deserves a full 5 stars. This is one of those rare delights. Both the food and service were outstanding. The owner is very friendly. While we waited for our food, he chatted with us and answered our questions about the cuisine. He gave us multiple samples that were all delicious. The humus is really good, we ended up buying some to take home. I also ended up getting the jallaab drink after trying a sample of it. It is sweet, very aromatic and overall an enjoyably unique flavor (unique to me, anyway). I believe it is made with dates and rose water. I ordered the falafel shawarma. The falafel is probably the best I've ever had. Not overly fried like most places. Very fluffy and steamy. The dish is garnished with pickled cucumbers and pickled turnips and paired with three tasty sauces (tzatziki, a garlic aioli-ish sauce and a spicy sauce that tastes a bit like tapenade). Overall, the flavors are courageously bold and balanced. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

Let me start by saying that the food was exquisite! This started as simple catering for a quick bite but it ended as a fancy feast. My favorite was the Chicken Shawerma, it was the best shawerma I've had in years. Many restaurants make it greasy and soggy, this was just perfect and felt like home made. The Zatar pie was also delicious , the crust was very fresh and fluffy. I'm usually not a big fan of falafel but this was delicious. The hummus was also tasty and the flavor was just right. The cherry on the top was the distinguished service. It's a family business and the owners were so friendly, they set up the tables for us and the food was very well presented. Above and beyond my expectations! They told us that the recipes were all family recipes and they enjoy cooking together as a family!
