Absolute gem of an experience in Sonoma. Everything from the initial introduction though the end of the tasting was done very well with an extremely personal touch. We spent nearly 2 hours with our host who gave us a very detailed tour of the site, followed by an even more detailed tasting session.
My husband and I had a delightful, informative tour of the distillery and then tasted four of the whiskeys. Each was very good and we bought a bottle of each to take back to Nevada with us. We have been to other distilleries and always enjoy hearing the special differences that make the results stand out. This place is in the process of expanding and will be even more visitor-friendly when they are done.
We were the only two on the tour....the bus was old....and we only went to three venues that were close to Rohnert Park....should have been a bust BUT best time ever...driver was cool, each winery was not crowded and we learned a lot from each one....it felt like a private tour!
