Really enjoyed the food here. Ceviche was very good, quarter chicken was very tasty and good value, beef stir fry was also a good choice. Plantains seemed more like regular bananas since they are sweet and very soft... The ones I've had in Latin countries were drier, more neutral, similar to a chip. Regardless, i liked them. Had the pisco sour. A bit on the exy side... Very foamy, a bit low on volume. Would have preferred a bit more in a bigger glass. Highly recommend you try this resto

I hadn't been here for a while, the food was very good! The beef in the Lomo Combinado was especially tasty - two thumbs up! The Camarone al Ajo was excellent too. If the weather is good, sit outside on their pretty patio.

My team had a fabulous experience dining at El Apollo Inka during our retreat! The outdoor dining area is comfortable and well-decorated, with a fireplace and patio heaters. The staff were attentive and friendly and ensured we were well cared for. We arrived during happy hour and were delighted to try several appetizers and drinks before ordering our entrees. Our team has a variety of dietary needs, and we’re impressed by the many tasty options, including vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian. A live band played various songs and instrumentals during dinner, inviting everyone to dance. It’s impossible not to enjoy the food, drinks, music, hospitality, and overall experience at El Pollo Inka!

Vegetarian options: Vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options.

On the first bite I take on my food I find a hair so disgusting they didn't try to even make the situation better. Will not ever go here again nasty.

In my first bite I found a hair. I'm never going back, how disgusting. They did nothing to make the situation better.

It used to be one of our favorite restaurants; Today I went with my family and some friends, unfortunately the atmosphere was different, the band was not the same, the waiters' attention was quick but not attentive since we felt pressured to finish quickly and leave. My friends who have also come several times commented the same. I don't know if they have changed managers or what has happened, but they should improve their management and be more attentive.

Can't speak for all the menu, but will speak about what we had. Sunday August 18, 2024.

Ordered a Whole Chicken (Pollo a la brasa), with fries and rice, and a Jalea.
Mediocre is the kindest word I can use to describe the chicken, it was close to flavorless and clearly reheated from who knows when, I'm assuming/hoping Saturday. Even the thighs had almost no flavor which was surprising. Now the fries, they were literally dry and seamed to have been refried as well. They had no salt, no flavor, and were very powdery. As if you were eating sand, seriously disgusting.

rice was mediocre as well, barely any flavor but at least was edible.

Worst chicken we've ever had. Do not recommend.

The Jalea was good, not amazing but good. Only thing that didn't make our experience a complete and horrible disappointment.

For us the general consense was to never come back.

Excellent food and exceptional customer service! Attended a large private event this past weekend and cannot say enough about the quality of the food and level of service we received. Thank you, El Pollo Inka for going above and beyond!

Shout out to our friendly and outstanding server, Luis. Luis made our experience a pleasant one. This was my first time here, and I would love to come back and try something different. I had Lomo saltado, and it was ok. My husband had the 1/2 chicken, and it was DELICIOUS ? very flavorful.

We have loved El Pollo Inka for many years at their locations in Lawndale and HB, now we found them closer to us!
The restaurant is large, spacious indoor & outdoor seating with a relaxed vibe. While we ate, there was a large birthday party, yet it never felt noisy.
Service was incredibly attentive, always catching what we may need even before we asked.
The highlight though is the food: we had 3 different dishes, all flavorful without being salty, plantains prepared perfectly, and plenty of it all. Each dish comes with a soup & roll ahead of time.
We finished sharing the dessert platter and were thoroughly impressed!
Best of all: prices remain the same.
We are frequent customers!
