This establishment has the best Mexican food in the area! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Family owned businesses with an unforgettable atmosphere. Owner is a generous guy too!

We ordered the birria ramen, quesabirria tacos, tacos al pastor with rice and beans, and the esquite. The food was good, but the star of the show was the birria ramen. It was delicious! Nice flavors overall. Also had the horchata and pineapple agua fresca. Both were refreshing and a perfect drink.

Very tasty birria. Particularly the quesobirria! My wife enjoyed her vegan burrito and the proprietor said more vegan options are coming. Very friendly service. We will be adding this restaurant to our regular rotation!

The food was great, the service was not.I don't blame the restaurant, sometimes you just get bad workers. The worker was very rude, like they were close to closing and she didn't want us ordering. When our food was ready, she simply put it in the counter and went back to the kitchen and never said a word. We turned around and saw it there and hoped itnwas our food as she had disappeared. I've never had that happen in all my years of ordering, really weird experience.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian options - love the vegan meat made from jackfruit. They can make everything either vegan or vegetarian. Great spicy salsa for hot sauce lovers. Rice and beans are free from lard or chicken stock. Quality and freshness is also a plus. They make orders custom. Gluten-friendly options as well. Great for families.

Great food, great service! A lot of places skimp on the portions or ingredients, but not here! As just one example, the surf and turf burrito was packed with shrimp and asada! We highly recommend going here! You will not be disappointed!

The sign on the door showing birria was very enticing so I decided to try this place for dinner after my workout. It’s right in the center of the outside mall across from the Christmas tree. When I walked in around 6pm there was only one family there but a few people were coming in for pickup. I ordered the quesabirria and the fuego taco with asada. It took about 5 minutes to get my order. When the lady Mariela brought the food, I noticed there wasn’t any salsa or Birria sauce in the side. I’ve never had a birria taco without the Birria sauce. That’s the whole reason I ordered that taco. When I asked her where was the sauce, she said did you want sauce? I said yes and can I get salsa too. She said red or green and I said both. She looked a little perturbed that I said that which is weird because don’t most people want salsa with their Mexican food? Lol. The family waiting for their take out heard our interaction and made sure to ask if there was salsa in their bag too.

The quesabirria was good and hit the spot. I really should have just had that. First off it’s cheaper than the fuego taco and it tastes much better. The fuego taco with asada was not good at all. The asada was way too salty for my liking. I used all the salsa and had to dip that taco in my birria sauce to make it edible. I asked for a spoon and once again Mariela seemed annoyed with me. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she never thanked me, checked on me (the only diner in the restaurant), or said bye or anything when I left…not even a smile. Even though the quesabirria was good, her vibe was bad.

All in all I wouldn’t come back here or recommend this spot to people at my Equinox gym nearby. There’s so many other spots in the area so next time I’m in Rolling Hills Estates, I will try them out.

I have now eaten here through delivery three times and now in person one time.
Their Birria meat is some of the best I've had. I had the Birria in their Ramen and Tacos and now a Quesadilla.
One of the great new places up on the hill.

9-1-2024: Traditional Mexican food on the hill. Friendly owner, staff and a variety of delicious food. In the PV Mall, first floor near the water spouts.

Best birria tacos on the hill at an affordable price. Even my kids love it, and they rarely like a taco place.

So you take your kids to play at the splash pad at the mall and they always get hungry and then you run into this great place! I love birria and this place makes it perfectly. I've tried most of their birria menu and it's all really good - quesobirria and birria ramen are my favorites. Love the spicy salsa, too. Come and enjoy!
