Ruby's Diner

To dine in, depends on the time, but I am here Friday at 5 PM before I go, ice-skating, my turkey, cheeseburger, fries, and coleslaw. I got within five minutes! The fries are the best! You don’t have to put anything on them just eat them naked! the turkey burger is excellent. Juicy and good. Yes it’s expensive. $25 for a hamburger but it includes fries in the pulse ox. Shakes are amazing also. Friendly staff.

This Ruby's Diner is one of my daughter's favorite places to hang out. Watching the skaters and Hockey players from a slightly warmer perspective with the American Diner atmosphere and music is fun. The burgers and shakes are great and so is the service.

Straight abysmal, I asked for no avocado, and they put guacamole. I told them and they just scraped it off, like what da heck man?

Great food and place. It has the best strawberry shake I’ve ever had and one of the best burger/sandwitch I’ve ever had. I do completely recommend this place vibe and food. This food chain has a lot of business potential if opened in the correct places around the country. It’s a shame they closed the only location in Houston, TX.

Great customer service and wonderful staff. Food was prepared quickly and well. Would recommend this establishment without question. I ordered the Hickory burger and was very happy with my meal.

Yesterday, my 98 year grandfather who is hard of hearing wanted to have a nice lunch with some family who were visiting from out of state. He really likes this Ruby’s so we met him here. The staff member, Byron, found us a quiet spot to sit with him and later turned down the music as we were some of the only people in the restaurant. He checked on us throughout the meal and we never wanted for anything :) I was touched that he was so attentive! The food was also delicious! I would definitely go back there again based on the service alone.

Stopped in for a late lunch, as we'd just arrived on a long cross-country flight. Our service was slow - we had to track her down to pay. Food - Meh. Typical diner-fare, but nothing to write-about Burgers / Fries - kids food. No one was really that impressed, but we were all famished. Ambiance: Quiet when we arrived. Not busy. Food: Blah. Awesome retro diner with milkshakes to die for. Ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake and a cheeseburger with onion rings. My partner ordered the ruby burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake (fresh blended strawberries). The food is great and so is the atmosphere. Had a little trouble finding it, as it is inside the hockey rink. Definitely recommended.

Excellent food, great service, reasonable prices. Have always loved Ruby's and it is still as good as it has always been. Favorites are the Turkey Sandwich (real roast turkey, not that deli-type turkey roll "product"), Mushroom hamburger but substitute chicken breast, and the cherry Coke.

I've been a big fan of Ruby's Finer for years! The atmosphere is upbeat & always immaculate. I dearly miss the Redondo Beach location but have come to appreciate the Palos Verde location which overlooks an ice skating rink--& we were entertained by some pretty impressive skaters. The staff at the PV Ruby's were excellent, professional & enthusiastic. Excellent servers Fiona & Grace!
