This Ruby's Diner is one of my daughter's favorite places to hang out. Watching the skaters and Hockey players from a slightly warmer perspective with the American Diner atmosphere and music is fun. The burgers and shakes are great and so is the service.

OMG Ruby's Diner is still open: we need to support them so that these stapled restaurants don't abandon the hills. The gentleman seated us quickly: we were the second table at the mostly empty restaurant. We were surprised how quickly the food service was. Our salad had too much dressing, but it was a good dish. The fried beans appetizer is better than the one we loved at the Habit. Unfortunately, this is not the same Ruby that I remember frequently in my years here. The menu is much abbreviated, and i could not find most of the dishes I liked here and have ordered here with my kids. The ambiance has not changed: the retro decoration with Tom-and-Jerry cartoons is still the same. I understand the reduced menu (and increased price) with this few tables filled. I hope there is a renaissance here, else there will be fewer reasons to return.

I loved the green beans fries it was delicious and the place still remains very retro theme as a reminder of how we changed since those days. The service was fast and I loved how spacious it is.

I make this as a review for roughly 2 or 3 visits since I don't frequent the area anymore but I've thought of this place as a solid burger place to eat. I usually only came here after a session at Equinox to get something filling to eat. The space is self is cozy albeit quiet but that's fine if I want service that's focused on me. Every server is has been nice and understanding for what I've wanted to eat.

Small gnat type bugs everywhere. Landing on our food and under our plate. We quickly paid and left. Staff was very nice. Something needs to be done. This is gross and unsafe.

Main Reason my Yelp Review is Recognize these Employees at This Ruby's in Palos Verdes Two Servers Fiona & Trinidad, Miguel only Cook!! They Slammed Families Lunch hour Obviously used More Servers & Two more Cook's they went above & Beyond get Food Orders Timely Manner to The Customer's ! Great food and place. It has the best strawberry shake I’ve ever had and one of the best burger/sandwitch I’ve ever had. I do completely recommend this place vibe and food. This food chain has a lot of business potential if opened in the correct places around the country. It’s a shame they closed the only location in Houston, TX.

Yesterday, my 98 year grandfather who is hard of hearing wanted to have a nice lunch with some family who were visiting from out of state. He really likes this Ruby’s so we met him here. The staff member, Byron, found us a quiet spot to sit with him and later turned down the music as we were some of the only people in the restaurant. He checked on us throughout the meal and we never wanted for anything :) I was touched that he was so attentive! The food was also delicious! I would definitely go back there again based on the service alone.

Stopped in for a late lunch, as we'd just arrived on a long cross-country flight. Our service was slow - we had to track her down to pay. Food - Meh. Typical diner-fare, but nothing to write-about Burgers / Fries - kids food. No one was really that impressed, but we were all famished. Ambiance: Quiet when we arrived. Not busy. Food: Blah.
