This review is for their promotion of the house special dessert day. The line is long, about 30 people, which is okay with me. There is an online line as well, but it’s pointless when they take anyone in the online line. I ordered online and was given an order number, and was notified via message that the order was ready. But, I still had to wait in line after 8 people that didn’t even have their order ready yet. Be prepared to wait in line if you don’t manage your time and order properly.

I placed a pick up order and by the time I got back to my car and pulled up to the intersection, realized they forgot one item in my order. I had to go back, look for parking again, then went inside to get the rest of my order.
I got home and tried the Che Thai. It tasted fine but within 15-20 min my throat and esophagus started to feel swollen and irritated. I called them and after speaking to two people and asking multiple times what is in the “special house milk” I found out it’s a blend that contains soy milk, which I’m specifically ALLERGIC to.
Note to the owners: PLEASE disclose what ingredients especially soy, nut, egg ingredients are in your items for people who have allergies. Mine is easily caught and treatable but others could have SEVERE reactions. List these on the online menu and store menus. Lastly please train your staff on ingredients and customer service. All I was told was to not drink it but there are better ways of handling these interactions.

We just tried this Bake & Che Vietnamese dessert place in Rosemead on Rosemead Blvd and River Ave. It's next to the Da Vien Coffee. This is a new structure, and the ambiance was comfortable with modern decor. We ordered G1 The Sampler (5 pcs, $7), Avocado Che ($8), and C1 House Special ($7). The five cakes sampler included palm sugar, pandan layers, mung bean, cassava, and taro. I especially like the taro and mung bean cakes, but I'm not a fan of the pandan because it has durian inside. Besides the cakes, I liked their drinks even more! The Avocado Che drink was so delicious and so fresh. It had a lot of ingredients inside. My hubby liked the House Special Che Dac Biet (C1) drink so much, but it had durian inside, so I did not drink it. We forgot to order their signature flan cheesecake, and we will definitely go back to try it next time. The service was friendly and speedy.

I didn’t find the dessert very impressive, and for the price, it felt a little underwhelming. The flavors just didn’t stand out enough to justify the cost. However, the café itself has a lovely atmosphere—bright, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing—and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy the vibe, but the dessert didn’t quite meet my expectations.
The bake and Flandan cheesecake were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite was delicious. Travis (the cashier) were super friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away!!! Definitely a great experience overall!

Foods and drinks are good, except the mixed use restroom is very DIRTY with littered papers in the floor. The staffs should check and clean restroom periodically throughout the day for the customers.
