We just tried this Bake & Che Vietnamese dessert place in Rosemead on Rosemead Blvd and River Ave. It's next to the Da Vien Coffee. This is a new structure, and the ambiance was comfortable with modern decor. We ordered G1 The Sampler (5 pcs, $7), Avocado Che ($8), and C1 House Special ($7). The five cakes sampler included palm sugar, pandan layers, mung bean, cassava, and taro. I especially like the taro and mung bean cakes, but I'm not a fan of the pandan because...
I didn’t find the dessert very impressive, and for the price, it felt a little underwhelming. The flavors just didn’t stand out enough to justify the cost. However, the café itself has a lovely atmosphere—bright, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing—and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy the vibe, but the dessert didn’t quite meet my expectations.
The bake and Flandan cheesecake were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite was delicious. Travis (the cashier) were super friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away!!! Definitely a great experience overall!
