I love this place! It use to be my go to when I lived across the street. Always getting my viet coffee and my steam buns mmmmm. They have the egg in there lol prices are really reasonable, place is clean and staff is friendly. It is a place to try! Got a recommendation for this place from a friend and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. This place has a take out focus so there isn't any seating inside as of 1/8/2022. Parking here is crazy especially on the weekend because the plaza is quite popular. The lot is large but plenty of people are circling around so it's just luck. We ordered three #2 grilled pork on round bread and so we got the BUY 2 GET 1 FREE deal!! For 3 sandwiches and 1 iced coffee it was a total of $17.44 which is unbeatable. The bread is SO FRESH and light. They package the veggies separately so when you take out the bread doesn't get soggy. It comes with just the right amount of carrot/daikon pickles, jalapeños, cilantro, cucumbers. The meat is DELICIOUS and it really comes together for the perfect bahn mi. 100% will be coming back to this place

I wanted to like this place. But the food fell short. big time. Disclaimer: I came at around 7pm; they may be serving old products from during the day. Most of their competitors are already closed before this time. Sandwiches: grilled pork and saigon special - the bread was just plain stale. Not toasted either. Crust was nice but this has clearly been sitting out for a long time. Im certain it would be excellent if fresh. Also, the sandwiches are missing maggi sauce. This is a classic component of a banh mi for those seeking the authentic experience. Fillings otherwise were generous though. The grilled pork was very thick and dry. and cold. Banh bao (steamed buns) - these were also stale. The bun itself was unevenly dense, not fluffy, and the filling was hard even though its sitting in the steamer. Its also clearly not fresh. Pate Chaud - another classic item. The flaky pastry was hard and stale. The filling was dry and shriveled up. It was just old and tasted like it sat under the heat lamp all day, which it probably was at that time. Service was great, girl at the counter was very friendly, the shop was clean. If I were to give them another chance, I would go for a fresh saigon special sandwich in the morning when presumably the bread is fresh. But there are so many other excellent banh mi places competing with them, its hard to find a reason.

Really good bread.. not doughy inside and has a great crisp on the crust with nice aroma. The meats were generous and the pickled veggies were great. Prices are good as well. The patechaud is perfectly bite sized. Service was quick and if you but the rounded baguette it's buy 2 and get 1 free. It's way better than Lee's sandwiches. I'll be back to try other sandwiches. Bon appetit.
