Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was.
We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!
Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.
Unassuming interior, delicious meal.

The noodle bowls were full of flavour and heat. Lots of spicy options, although I’m not sure you can trust the information on the menu if you’re looking for something non-spicy. I picked the noodles with the mixed pea sauce because it didn’t have a chilli pepper sign, but it wasn’t mild at all. Regardless, the food was pretty tasty. We also got some dumplings, which were very nice.
The ambience was less than ideal, however. While the place was a little hot and looked slightly rundown, what was truly off-putting was the man in the kitchen constantly clearing his throat and hocking loogies. He was really going for it, one after the other, trying to get rid of everything… He could’ve gone to the restroom to spare us.

It's a a good noodle house, one of the better ones been too. Good combo of soup and noodles flavor was all on point.
The service was great, and for the price you get a good amount of food.
I saw Xiaohongshu came here specially, but the service quality was very disappointing: A middle-aged waiter in slippers threw the menu (yes, he threw it) on the table without taking the initiative to get water. Five minutes later, we ordered our own drinks. I ordered dandan noodles and specifically asked not to have green onions. The waiter nodded and took note of it, and when they brought it to me, both bowls of noodles came with green onions... I added a side of chicken giblets. When it was served, the chicken giblet soup was hot, but the chicken giblets were still cold. I didn’t apologize after saying that. It was reminiscent of a frozen pre-made dish.
This kind of service attitude will not lead to repeat customers...
I came specifically after seeing this place on Chinese Yelp, but the service quality was very disappointing: A middle-aged waiter wearing slippers directly threw (yes, threw) the menu onto the table and did not proactively bring water. After five minutes, we had to order drinks ourselves. I ordered dan dan noodles and specifically asked for no green onions. The waiter nodded and took notes, but when the noodles arrived, both bowls had green onions. We added a dish of chicken giblets. When it was served, the broth was hot, but the giblets were still cold. After mentioning this, there was no apology, which made us think the food was pre-prepared and frozen.
With such an attitude, they won't have returning customers...
