The dan dan noodles were not to my liking so unfortunately I cant give additional stars. The service was ok although refills were not provided and we had to wait.

I got togo so the noodle was turning sticky but the taste is still good. A lot of choices of Chongqing style noodles. I like those without soup but spicy.

I've tried the Chung king noodle soup To go The broth was delicious after some paste and chilis and soy sauce. The problem I had with my to go order was that my noodles came in a hard rock at the bottom of my dish. I will definitely come Back but I will not order takeout

Best noodles you'll ever have. I like putting a dash of white pepper (it's complementary and comes in a shaker at every table) before taking a big bite of the noodle. There's something about the combination of chili oil spice and dry white pepper spice that make it so addicting. After being disappointed by overpriced overhyped food all over LA, eating here was refreshing. Two noodle dishes and a side set us back less than $30 bucks. This hole-in-the-wall is truly a hidden gem

Pleasantly surprised! I had very low expectations for the place since I drive by it daily and it's a hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant by the liquor store. We ordered the Chungking Handmade Noodles as we were craving some Chinese schezwan-style numbing beef noodle soup. Tasted homemade and the couple that runs the place is very kind and nice. The handmade noodles were perfect and the soup broth was very tasty. The flavors have definitely stood the test of time since they have been around for over 5+ years and with more popular restaurants opening nearby (like Mr. Dragon Noodle). We only gave this spot a try because the other restaurant was closed - but it was still good :)

This place is truly an overlooked gem in the SGV. I don't even remember how we found it, and they're not going to win any awards for decor or atmosphere, but the proprietor is very friendly and makes tremendous food that is served fast in generous quantities at a very good price.The noodle dishes we've had here rival any we've had in southern california, including Mian at their best (like right after they opened, not in the past few years). Especially recommend the chungking noodle with red soup, dan dan noodle, and my favorite, the chungking homemade noodle, which is definitely worth the couple extra bucks for the better noodles than those that come with the regular chungking noodle. Happy to find that the prices haven't increased recently, and would love to see more people eating here. It's so good!If you're a fan of really sweet drinks, order the lemon tea.Cash only. Easy parking.

Worst noodle house I ever try. Only one people work there take money and cook. Noodle no meat only very tiny ground pork quantity small. No service at all have to wait long time Does not deserve one star
