This has been by far, the best place to get your Pastrami fix. I live in Las Vegas and when ever I go to California, I have to stop at Jim's to get a Pastrami.

I have been coming here for over 35 years. This place not only has given me memories but a satisfied stomach. Good is always so good, burgers are juicy and taste like meat with no aftertaste like some other places. The Pollo loco plate is so good, kinda like cooking it over charcoal. People are nice, owner seems like he's grumpy but totally the opposite, super nice guy and chill. I come here when I'm in the area, this is a must for me.

I've been coming here for years for their delicious food however, it's changed. Although generous portions, my hamburger was dry. Fries were not crispy as ordered and unseasoned. Friendly service tho

To me this is the original James I grew up in this area and this is the one that I went to when I was young then I didn't know that there's hundreds of them all over but that said it's still good little greasy but good!

I have nothing bad to say about Jim's. They take phone orders that produces food within 10 minutes and whether you buy a hamburger or get the Pollo loco chicken plate all is good every time I go.
Chili cheese fries were not flavor I was expecting but edible. Burger and onion rings were ok, a little pricey for the quality and flavor but everything is going up.

That's the spot for some great home grilled chicken. Forget pollo Loco or some chicken joint similar to it. The recipes are home and original. You'll taste what I mean. The chicken and chilly fries are the best.

At first glance, I thought that I might need medical attention if I ate there. But the food was more than I could handle and it was delicious! A must have.Don't let the bugs scare you away. Just pretend that you're camping lol
