First time coming here on January 11 with my boyfriend for dinner. My order for us he got a Sope and I got two Carne Asada tacos. But we both share a plate full of nachos. The Carne Asada was so juicy and trust me I had very dried Carne Asada street tacos before at other restaurants. The only problem I have was that night was 55° degrees and the door was opened.

I moved into areas some time ago. I know and love Mexican food. So I know quite a few that are amazing I'm so many ways, price and quality. But I wanted to find a good place near me. I went here yesterday. They were quite at 2pm. Three people were talking in the kitchen. So it took a while for the lady to get to me even though she saw me walk up. I ordered the Birria. It came! At first glance it looked like shot. A wet slop in an uptight Tortilla. Just spilling out onto the paper plate that had day old dry radishes. So sad. But I bit into it hoping it would just taste amazing. Bitting into a chunk of bone. So I opened it up. No meat, it was what was left of the pot. So, I'll not be going back. Obviously the service, food and lack of concern was it for me.

It's definitely those hole in the walls but overall really great food, tasty and authentic for sure. Never had an issue with any of the workers, Luis definitely helped me out with the menu and went out of his way to recommend a few options too, seems to value his work and customers. If I'm ever around the neighborhood and in the mood for some Mexican food this is the place!
