They also offer take-out food with microwave oven to heat up if you choose to eat on the bench outside. I was looking for beef rendang spices, not only did the staff helped me choose the right ingredients, he also went the extra mile and gave tips on what type of cut, best preparation techniques etc. Very friendly.

Anytime we come to LA we try and stop here. There arent many authentic Indo restaraunts in the bay area, and only one store that ive found. Medan is a haven. I stock up on cooking supplies and used to get tons of snacks, and then we get some meals. Usually we're in town for Disney so the meals are great after 14+ hours in the parks. Parking can get tricky, but its worth it. I almost regret posting this if it means it'll get more crowded though. Fantastic place. And now that I'm studying bahasa I can actually read stuff, so I've got that going for me.

I’m so happy we found this place! The store is much bigger in person and offers way more goods than I expected. I originally came in searching for martabak and sambal matah, both of which they had, but ended up finding so much more. They even carry candlenut (and a wide variety of other nuts), which is a hard-to-find essential for our cooking at home.
We were really impressed and will definitely be back when we need to restock! We also tried their ready-made food, especially the pisang goreng (fried banana), which was absolutely delicious. I brought home some ayam suir as well, and it was just as flavorful.
We picked up pandan extract and a bunch of jajanan (snacks) too. This place is full of great finds for anyone looking for authentic Indonesian ingredients or ready-to-eat food made with care.

They have microwaves and utensils as well as some outdoor seating. The food is absolutely amazing, so delicious and authentic.
