I came here with my dad for breakfast on a Monday before work. I ordered a ham and egg sandwich on baguette and it was really good. If you want more breakfast options though there isn’t many, just 4 options. But there was plenty of parking.

I came around 7:30 am and ordered the 1) special, I barely got any chili and no cilantro and I had asked for everything it included

Mr. Baguette is my go-to spot for fresh, flavorful Vietnamese sandwiches. The bread is always perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I love the grilled pork banh mi the most—it’s packed with flavor. The drinks, especially the Vietnamese iced coffee, are strong and sweet. It’s a casual, no-frills place, but the food is consistently great. Prices are very reasonable, and service is quick

Lemongrass Beef with sesame sandwich is my only go to at this place. It’s a more pricey compared to other Vietnamese sandwich shops. The sandwich style is suitable for American who like thick baguettes instead of soft and thin loaf of breads, Vietnamese style.

This used to be my favorite spot for Vietnamese sandwiches, but since the pandemic, the quality has declined slightly. The baguettes just don’t taste the same to me—I used to love the bread here more than anything else. I’d often pick up two loaves and some really good butter, finish one baguette pretty quickly, and save the second to make sandwiches the next day. But that second loaf turned into a brick overnight. I don’t remember the bread going stale so fast before. Maybe it was just a fluke, but after that, I started visiting less frequently.

I was curious about their vegetarian banh mi sandwich options. I ordered the vegetarian ham banh mi and vegetarian turkey American sandwich.
Ham banh mi was tasteless. Super stingy on the pickled veggies. Pickled veggies were just carrots, no radish, or other standard veggies. It's one of the absolute worst vegetarian banh mi I've tried. Looks like banh mi, but its taste is a bastardized version. Had my share of many delightful vegetarian banh mi. This one misses the mark completely.
The American vegetarian turkey sandwich was equally tasteless and sad.

I like the sandwiches but the price is now $8.50 for a sandwich????? what happened from below $4 to over $8.50 in a few years??? expensive for a french sandwich. And I asked extra halepino and the lady was rude and wanted to make me pay extra. The price has double, i know things are more expensive but how you justified double in just a few years??????
Also, why is the lady at the cashier RUDE???? At least be nice to customer

Place is a little run down. Like it’s past its prime - but it now has some charm in the sense that all the locals gents are here having a spirited conversation. The service was quick accents a side. The food quality is as good as ever. Really did t know what I wanted to for lunch today. Great that I drove by and decided to stop. Great baguette!
