Why did I wait 5 years to try this place?!
I finally gave this Vietnamese restaurant a try after knowing about it for almost 5 years — I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews, but now I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner!

I ordered the bún nước lèo/bún mắm to-go for $18 (with tax), and wow — the portion was huge and loaded with toppings. The broth had a slight sweetness to it, which I personally loved. The shrimp were small but fresh, the roasted pork was crispy and flavorful, and the fish filet was tender with no fishy smell — exactly how I like it. They even included a big bag of fresh veggies on the side.
Definitely coming back.

Food quality is mediocre at best. Service is terrible. They gave us a table that's dirty, and the service was inattentive. What grossed me was cockroaches crawling around! Don't risk your health here! LA county health inspection gave this restaurant an 80 pt score, meaning it's a B grade with 12 health code violations.

My favorite is the baked catfish 😋 and the salt and pepper shrimp 🍤 😋

The bún nước lèo is too good that I couldn't even wait to take a pick picture to post before eating it , definitely recommended , this one is one of my favorite...

We loved the garlic butter chicken wings and strawberry smoothie. The staff was very kind and helpful to us for the unfamiliar menu. Everything was beyond delicious and can’t wait to go back.

Wanna give this place a 0 star. They charged us wrong with our bill. The added price to service fee to tax. We ended up telling the manager. He started to argue with us saying that this is the correct way. He even showed us the menu he was wrong. But made up an excuse. We ended up paying the wrong price because we were late to the airport. Pls do not come here. File a claim to the government to take the place down

Worst food I've ever eaten. Ordered a big cat fish, it came out uncooked and still smelled like fresh fish. We asked to make it better and he originally wasnt going to do it. Finally they cooked it a second time and it came out still smelling the same. Ii was like i was eating fresh cat fish. Don't waste your time with the terrible food here because it will ruin your dinner. If you don't know how to cook cat fish, please don't run your business. Stay away if you can .
If I can give zero Stat, I will but I don't have any option, so I have to give them one star.
They also charged 20% for tips too. Be aware everyone local or visitor.

Great family owned spot for delicious Vietnamese dishes that you can't as always get. The crispy rice cakes were delectable with a hint of chive and a perfect crunch. The fried chicken was so moist on the inside and crispy with flavor without being oily. My favorite dishes were the whole cooked steamed fish, and the caramelized fish in the clay pot. Overall loved this spot for some home cooking. It's not a fancy looking place but the service is good and kind with amazing food.
