Many bad experiences when dine in here. Ordered grill fish, 2 grill rabbit, bò lá lốt. Grill fish was "cold", not even warm plus the meat is mushy so that mean the fish wasnt fresh. Both grill rabbit were unedible, meat had a weird taste, told the waitress to bring it back to the kitchen to check and she came back saying the kitchen confirm it's fresh. I had the grill rabbit many times at this same restaurant but it never taste this bad before. Either they changed cook or they just wouldnt admit they messed up my order. Bò lá lốt was overcook with too much black pepper that you cant really taste or smell anything else other than the pepper ( I suspected they trying to use the black pepper to cover the unfresh beef).Other thing is the waiter and waitress here arent helpful and honest at all. They would disappear for along time leaving customers by themselves. It's a hassle to look for them to order your food as well as ask for extra ultensils. They have no idea how to organize the table when placing food for customers. And they throw away my half eaten fish to make room for other dishes without asking. When I told them I wanted my half eaten fish home, they told me; "too bad, I threw it away already, you should have told me sooner". They didnt apologize nor offer any compensation. I crossed this place out of my list.

Would not have stopped but that I saw, lettered neatly on the sidewalk chalkboard, "Vietnamese Crepe" , and seeing as it's not so easy to find Bánh xèo, and I like it, so I sallied forth. I was courteously welcomed and quickly seated and I ordered the Bánh xèo. It was delicious and I enjoyed it tremendously. I was most impressed with the many dishes described on the menu and I hope that I will have the opportunity to eat here a few more times.

It's a good spot that has some great affordable family meals with caramel black pepper fish stew, sour fish soup with pineapple and tomato and herbs, and other very authentic items. The food comes fast. It's nice not to have to go to Little Saigon and stay in the LA area. Service is a little overwhelmed but it's kind of like Vietnam that way. You have to pay your bill at the counter. Don't expect them to be that easy to flag down for the check.

We called last minute for a to go order for our family and the restaurant was so accommodating and friendly. They helped us pick out a few dishes and helped us take it out to our car too. We ordered the large baked fish, canh chua cat fish, beef cubes, clams, and it came with rice and vermicelli with rice paper. Everything taste good.

Came here for a nice family lunch and this place delivered. Grilled The food was great, service was good. Some servers don't speak English well but it's how you know you are getting authentic Vietnamese food in the 626 area. Recommend: grilled catfish. It's build your own spring roll with grilled catfish so come in with clean hands. It's a fun experience.

Friendly staff, we tried to ask about something and they passed us to an English speaking staff person, very accommodating. The catfish soup was sweeter than we've had but very good. We found this place from Kristie Hang on IG. We came for lunch on a weekday and it was quite empty. Would come back!

Really good pho, atmosphere, and great customer service. This is an authentic Vietnemese restaurant where the servers speak the language. Luckily the menus are translated in English so there's no lanuage barrier there. As for the service, the waiter was really friendly and attentive to our needs. There was no rudeness or rushness that was felt throughout the meal. Prices are very reasonable as well!

I'm not a fan of this place. The waiters had attitude, and the food wasn't too bad, but the service guarantee we won't be back.

Amazing catfish roll yourself spring rolls! This is the best place in SGV if you're looking for the ultimate fried catfish experience. Awesome for families and big groups. Make sure you call ahead to order the catfish and make reservations if you can. I've been here a handful times and always find myself coming back even more glad I came. You get to experience true famliy style eating. With a huge fried catfish you can make your own spring rolls with all the fixings. Its so fun and watching everyone make their own combination of veggie and fish is a sight. Come here and be prepared to get messy and enjoy every bite. There's a ton of amazing dishes but what is a MUST GET is their fried catfish. You can order it in different sizes depending on your group size. A medium can feed 4 mouths no problem. If you've got a hungry hippo group, you'll want to go large and even larger if you can. Better to have leftovers than to run out. It's not an easy experience to just order a second fish after you finish the first so order accordingly. Parking is your usual in the SGV. Street parking or try looking for local lots. Never hard to find parking but the place itself is pretty small so always always always call ahead.

Ordered a family style Dinner for $125, dishes were small, there was hardly enough fish in the clay pot fish dish, the fried whole fish (tilapia) was borderline spoiled and it was deep fried, but was way over fried. The clams dish was also bad, mostly gravy and no more than 12 dead b-4 cooked claims in the plate. The dishes were of poor quality, except for Canh Chua Catfish, it was okay. Also had additional a la carte dishes of Shaken beef/venison too, and there were hardly any meat, few pieces of meat were on mostly beds of raw veggies. Given that we are in the high inflationary time, however, this restaurant is way too expensive and they serve mediocre meats along with poor food preparation.Just as I got the bill, one of the staff sat on a chair next to me at my table kept looking at the tip amount as I was writing the tip/total - a sign of poor taste and desperation.Parking: N/a

OMG! Delicious!!!!Com ca thit ko tho - Carmelized braised fish (I apologize for not spelling this correctly. That what I ordered and it was AMAZING.So I came in expecting to order the baked catfish, but didn’t see it on the lunch menu that I was handed. Also it takes about an hour and is for minimum 2 people (about 4lbs of a whole fish).I did not end up being disappointed. However I would have enjoyed some sort of veggie in addition to the rice and fish. But talk about FLAVOR! Sooooo good!!I also ordered shrimp spring rolls due to their $18 minimum when paying with card (Apple Pay in my case). They had an interesting flavor due to the shrimp Im guessing. It was nice and refreshing. Great size. There was a nice spice added to the peanut sauce.Cleanliness apparently is something that’s talked about in other reviews. It seemed clean and nice, with some homie music that I’d never heard before. After talking to the owner he mentioned the restaurant focus on home cooked Vietnamese food. If this is what homecooking is, sadly I’ve been sleeping on Vietnamese food for far too long.Thank you for Sàu for making my day and expanding my food/flavor pallet.

My family and I love coming here for their baked catfish combos as well as their Canh Chua combos. Their tamarind shrimp is also very flavorful and delicious. Their pricing is on the more pricey side but definitely worth the penny. The service is always very attentive but can be slow when there is a crowd. For the most part, the restaurant is very clean. The parking lot is shared amongst the other restaurants/shops within the plaza but there is plenty!
