I have been going to different Sam Woo since the latter part of the 80s, and I consider myself a very loyal customer since, but I am not going back to THIS Sam Woo ever again, especially during holidays! On top of the lousy service, their cooking (since the last Chinese New Year) is totally sucked (I wouldn’t even feed them to the dogs on the street)!
Parking: Few times I ended up going to other restaurants, because I couldn’t find parking, or waited too long for parking and gave up.

Consistently the best roast duck (not to be confused with Peking duck) even in SGV (San Gabriel Valley). Always juicy, tender, and amazingly tasty. We only take out from this store, but we do it regularly. I have no idea what the service is like or the physical plant, as my wife is always the one to go in to get the duck. Oh, the chicken chow fun dry is also consistently tasty, generous, with tender pieces of chicken. I don't know if chicken chow fun is even on the menu. Most places only list beef chow fun, but if you ask for chicken at Sam Woo, you get a very tasty dish.

Best Sam Woo I've run into so far. Very clean and great service. I don't take it likely when I say about service, especially when it came down to Chinese restaurants. Very friendly staff. I have one and a half year old girl and the restaurant is not cramped for the stroller.

We went to take out the food today, and the uncle who cut the meat had a very bad attitude. We only looked at the menu for a few seconds and he started banging the plate with the meat tongs, as if he was sending off a beggar! The uncle who collected the money also had no communication during the whole process and will never go again. The red sausage was very salty.
