Think I had the Chef Special - Bún Bò Huế (minus the pig feet and pig blood).
Nothing exceptional, but worth trying if you are in the neighborhood.

B rated Vietnamese place that doesn’t give receipt with purchase…
Was skeptical of the B rating and the food tasted good but there was some kind of weird chemical taste on some of the spring rolls.
Not sure if they’re cleaning with the food out, but they must have done something similar to get that B rating.

**A Hidden Gem of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine**
We came on a Saturday to enjoy some of our favorite dishes at the original Summer Roll location in Rosemead. This place has been around forever, and it's like coming home for a meal with family. We know the family that owns the restaurant, and they are always so friendly and welcoming.
We had their *nam*, *bun bo hue* (pig foot noodle soup), *banh beo* (steamed rice cakes), and *banh xeo* (Vietnamese crepe with bean sprouts and seafood). The food is from the Hue region of Vietnam, and they do it so well—everything was flavorful, authentic, and delicious.
While the decor here may not be as modern as their newer location in Temple City, this spot has that charm and authenticity that reminds you of a true family-run restaurant. We've admittedly neglected this location, but after this visit, we plan to come back more often. The food is excellent, and the warm, homey atmosphere makes the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a taste of genuine Vietnamese.

Very interesting rice bowl - Banh Beo, I don't think there are any in Northern California.
Spring roll also different because inside radish has a sweet and sour taste, good match with pork , so testy !
Must try when you are around Arcadia Los Angeles !

This is the best place to get nem Nuong cuon( fermented pork roll) and Bánh Bèo(steamed rice cake with shredded dried shrimp, croutons and spring onion). The rolls came with the special thick dipping sauce and the steamed rice came with the fish sauce. They have other Vietnamese dishes as well. The Vietnamese crepe is also one of my favorites. The service was quick Ann’s efficient. The place is a bit small but they get you in and out quickly.

Ordered chicken and pork banh mi sandwiches; featured large chunks of well seasoned meat, fresh cilantro and veggies on both sandwiches. Price was a bit higher but expected for LA area. Ciabatti bread is unique use for banh mi but not bad; just unique.
