cold noodle good taste. The lamb kebab was very dry and hard to bite, felt cooked one day earlier and not fresh.

Waitress was very helpful even with her somewhat broken English. Food was quite tasty. Would definitely come back. Ordered the iron beef. Recommend it.

Yesterday I went to have dinner with my daughter. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one at the reception. We called and came over and were given a menu. The three of us ordered an old-fashioned pot of pork and stir-fried dried tofu with northeastern pepper. (One Chicken rack, a crystal skin jelly package) A bowl of pimple soup, I don’t know why the chef made it. When we took a bite of the dish, it was very salty. We took the initiative to ask the front desk for a cup of hot tea and a cup of water. Is there a lot of soup with potted meat? Yes, but when you check out, you have to pay in cash. Aren’t you afraid of the tax bureau investigating? We gave $100 and walked away, maybe we won't come back

I can give the food 95 points (it feels very authentic). The cold dishes and old-fashioned pot-roasted pork are all delicious? The main thing is very affordable. If there are a lot of people, the average cost per person plus tip is more than 20 yuan? The service is great?

As a native Northeasterner, I came here today to give this place a try. I ordered the snowflake red bean cake, cauliflower salad, stir-fried pork kidney, dried tofu with green chili, and a large steamed bun. Here's my summary of today's four dishes.

Overall, they were all good. The cooking technique, side ingredients, and flavors were very traditional.

Stir-fried pork kidney: The kidneys were cleaned thoroughly, cooked to perfection, and had that great 'wok hei' (which I like).

Dried tofu with green chili: Traditional flavor. The dried tofu was tender and had a meaty texture, with a pleasant bite. (It would be even better if they used the type of chili commonly found in the Northeast.)

Cauliflower salad: A mix of cucumber, shredded potatoes, peanuts, and tofu skin. It had an authentic Northeastern flavor—not too sour, sweet, salty, or spicy. Very refreshing and perfect as a side dish with drinks.

The most impressive dish was the snowflake red bean cake. Although I waited over 30 minutes, it was well worth it. The taste was authentic, and even in Shenyang, not every restaurant can make it this well. All the egg whites were hand- whipped by the chef. The oil temperature was just right, and the egg whites were handled perfectly, with no eggy smell. Even after cooling, it was still amazing.

I’ll definitely come back. Given how authentic the snowflake red bean cake was, I’m sure their traditional Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) must be excellent!

I’ll recommend this place to my friends.

Please help me translate it into English: As an authentic Northeasterner, I came to this restaurant today to have a taste.
I ordered snow-capped bean paste, mixed cauliflower, hot kidneys, dried tofu with hot pepper, and large flower rolls. Let’s make a summary of today’s four dishes.
Overall, it's good. The cooking, side dishes, and taste are all very traditional.
Hot Kidney: The kidneys are cleaned very well, the heat is good, and the pot smells good (I like it)
Dried tofu with hot pepper: Traditional taste, the dried tofu is very tender, meaty and has a good texture. (It is recommended to change to the kind of chili pepper from Northeast China, which will be more perfect)
Mixed cauliflower: cucumber, shredded potatoes, peanuts, yuba, the authentic Northeast flavor. Not sour, not sweet, not salty, not spicy. Very refreshing and suitable as a snack.
The most amazing snowy bean paste, although I had to wait for more than 30 minutes, it was worth it. The taste is authentic. Even in Shenyang, not every store can make it so authentic. All egg whites are hand-made by the chef himself. The oil temperature is just right, the egg white treatment has no eggy smell, and it is still amazing to eat after cooling.
I will come again. Since the snow cotton bean paste is so authentic, the old-fashioned pot-wrapped pork must be great!
I will recommend to other friends.

I don’t want to give a star. Very rubbish. Only accepts cash or transfer. The service attitude is very unfriendly. Yells at the guests and forces them to tip. No tip is given and they are not allowed to leave (Tipping is required in American culture. If you don’t serve the dishes to the guests, let them go to the kitchen. Get your own food?) Suspected of serious tax evasion. No wonder there are no customers.

If I could, I would not give it even one star. The dishes have no special features, the ingredients are not fresh, and there are hairs on the bean paste buns. At the end of the checkout, the waiter suddenly said that only cash or transfer can be used, what? Isn't this tax evasion? Are Chinese restaurants so arrogant nowadays? A few of us worked together and gave 300. After a while, a woman came over and asked forcefully if we could tip a little. Damn it, tipping is not voluntary now. Is it mandatory to give a certain amount? May I ask who stipulated this? If you want to evade tax, you also want more tips. Is your service worth it? Oh my god, I won’t come again!

Short of waiter to serve customer, the only waitress even yell at customer. We have order 6 dishes and some dishes is spicy cuisine, we asked for rice and water for more than twice while we have consumed the salty food during the time. The waitress even yelled at us and said can't you just wait while I rushed to take order from other customers and deliver foods to other customers? She should know that is their management issue, not customer's problem. We are actually needed water so urgently due to spicy foods are hurting our mouth and throat. The food is no fresh and not stand out at all. While we pay the bill, this waitress even throw the money back to us and said the tips is not sufficient for her service. Oh, they are actually accept cash only for tax avoid purposes, you know it is common for Asian restaurants. We are truly thought that there is no service at all from this restaurant. We will not return to this restaurant forever. If I have an option, I am not even giving one star at all. Shame on them...

So, my favorite thing to look for is something called Guobaorou in cities with North Eastern Chinese food. Absolute favorite of mine and something I would refer to everyone. This was unfortunately the worst I've had. It is supposed to be crisp on the outside while still somewhat chewy on the inside with significant sour to sweet flavor. Unfortunately the pieces were so very hard and crunchy with just sweet flavor and barely any of the sour flavor. Dumplings we ordered were also flavorless.

The reason for the 3 stars is because my wife really liked the Liurouduar and tofu dish. Service was overall good, waitress was very nice and respectful.

When I ordered 5 takeaway dishes, I was told that I would have to wait for 30 minutes, but I waited for a full hour. Later, all the guests who came to dine were served their dishes. The service arrangement is very unreasonable! The waiter said that eating in the dining room is fast, which means that no matter first come, first served, the food in the dining room will be cooked first!
