Everything we ate was great. Fresh, not overly salty my guest really enjoyed it and she's very discriminating on her taste. Right next to a hotel. Highly recommend . excuse the pics. We were eating ?

I came here to eat after being introduced by a friend. The outside of the restaurant does not have gorgeous decorations and looks very ordinary. After entering, I found that the inside is very big and very clean! And we were greeted by a polite male waiter. He patiently helped me answer questions and introduced some recipes in their restaurant. I chose the pork blood and leek soup and seafood tofu pot that I wanted to eat. While eating, I found the food in this restaurant to be delicious! And the portions are huge! I had a great time eating ?! Here I sincerely thank you for your service and the hard work of the chefs! I wish your business will prosper!

When you come to Xiang Kee, you must try the super delicious Nanru Roast Chicken, which is reasonably priced.

Ordered roast duck 4 times. Overall---recommended,Only the third time it was not up to par, it was very salty. I don’t know if the master changed or if it was a mistake. The aroma of cloves was only present the first two times, and then basically disappeared. The pickled radish that comes with it is good and relieves tiredness.Tried the barbecued pork - not recommended, the pork itself has a smell, the meat is also very fat, and the taste is ordinary

It is a very spacious restaurant. It is not noisy. The dishes are very tasty. I loved the baked chicken traditional style which we preordered one day ahead .古法鹽焗雞.

I ordered over the phone and she said I would have to wait 40 minutes. I was already an hour late when I picked up my order, so I had to wait another half an hour. I asked the waiter and he said he didn't even want to take your order. Let me ask you if you are busy, you can choose not to take orders. Why do you have to wait for others and still go hungry? What's the service attitude? ? ?

This restaurant was recommended by a family member, noting they have excellent Cantonese food. Food: I ordered primarily from their specialty menu. I ordered the beef stew, whole crispy chicken, fish filet with veges, and tofu with fish paste. The dishes were on the blander side which at my point in life, I am not complaining about. There wasn't a particular dish I ordered that I'd say I'd go back to order again. Service: Friendly staff who were fairly accommodating. Environment: It is a pain to get to the location since they're on perhaps the busiest part o f rosemead blvd. The restaurant set up looks a bit odd. The decor more on the casual end. Price: Pricing is not too bad. I'd say it is at par with their competitors. Food: 3.5Service: 5Environment: 3.5Price: 4

Xiang Ji has great canto style dishes and it's a family favorite! My party got seated right away on a quiet Wednesday evening. The food came out extremely fast and the service was good! Here is my review of all the good eats:Steamed eggplant (5/5): Call in and order this dish in advance or order it as soon as you get seated. It takes about 45 minutes to prepare. Oftentimes, eggplant at restaurants is served fried or grilled and I can't eat too much because of the grease. With this steamed dish, you can eat as much eggplant as you desire because steaming it removes the need for lots of oil during the cooking process. If you like garlic and eggplant, this is the dish for you!Fish maw and baby bok choy (3/5): The bok choy was fresh and cooked well with a nice crunch. As someone who's never had fish maw, the gelatinous texture was off-putting but the flavor was pretty mild, not fishy or out of the ordinary. If you're also not familiar with the speciality food, pairing it with rice will make it easier to eat! That's the only way I was able to eat multiple pieces. Definitely give fish maw a try-I heard it's really good for your skin health!Fire-grilled chicken (4/5): I don't often eat chicken like this but I caught myself grabbing seconds and thirds. The skin was slightly crispy and the meat was very tender. My party really enjoyed this dish, and there was still so much left to take home.House special prawns (5/5): The prawns were easy to peel and loaded with garlic.Pan fried tofu (5/5): This dish was very simple, but I really like tofu so no complaints here! The tofu is soft and silky and the sauce goes well with rice.

When we made the reservation, we ordered duck. We didn’t even say we didn’t have it, but the waiter recommended someone else to order the unwanted goose for us. We had duck, so we didn’t ask for the roast goose he recommended! After all our customers had arrived, a middle-aged man who looked like a manager came out and forcibly told us that there were no ducks, only geese, which meant we could only order roast goose. It was so bad?~~I will never go there again.
