I stumbled into Yu Cakes on a Friday afternoon after grabbing boba next door, lured in by the promise of a baked treat. Unfortunately, the selection was underwhelming, with limited options available. The crepe cakes didn’t appeal to me, as I’ve never been a fan, so I opted for the Salted Cream Oreo Box Cake from the fridge section. At $7.50 for a small portion, I expected something special.
However, the experience was a letdown. The chocolate cake was disappointingly dry, the cream was bland, and neither the salt nor Oreo flavors were present. The lack of depth in taste made the premium price feel unjustified. I would have been more satisfied with a supermarket cupcake.
Overall, Yu Cakes didn’t live up to the hype, at least with this selection. Perhaps other items fare better, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t rush back.

There's a wide selection of cakes and cheesecakes at Yu Cake. I appreciate that the cakes are not overly sweet, and there are plenty of comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy our dessert at the shop.
The service was friendly and welcoming. They answered any questions we had about the cakes. There were plenty of options to choose from. I went with the mango crepe cake and it was very good, not to sweet. I will definitely be coming back to try more flavors and they also have drinks such at matcha, coffee, and teas. The place is also very cute and elegant.

Ordered online and the milk bread crumbled, couldn't even cut a piece to make a sandwich or anything, it tasted ok very bland. Though the durian crepe cake came upside down and melted, the taste was so bad my lip started stinging and i spat it out. It tasted like onions, the fact you have to pay 25$ shipping i wasted 50$ on both of these items, genuinely the worst purchase I've made in my entire life.

I have been watching LA Anegles to be winning against Oakland Athletic to have won 7 to 5, which I was been enjoyed the game. very much so, thanks a lot. My friend Mike who has taken me there. I mind planning to go next time if I have had time for I have good time on being Vacation to do with my friends. That's the way to be able to have inspired me for my retirement experience and traditional enrichment for my old ages to be able to dream for my dreaming come truth.
