I ordered Chicken Fried Steak (recommended by waitress). I was appalled at what was served, no way a steak or even beef for that matter. It was two sandwich sized breaded, pressed and processed chicken patties similar to McChicken from McDonalds. On top of that (literally) was a dollop of gravy the size of a quarter. Are you serious???? It was my first time there and will be my last!!!!

First time visit, and last time visit. ordered to go. BBQ pork 3 ribs-poor and rubbery,and to smoky, Coleslaw-over diced and very runny, had a funny taste, I tbink it was the apple they put in it. Baked beans-ok. Pulled pork sandwich was like mush, ove cooked, like it had been sitting all day. Wedge fries-ok. And over priced for the little you get.

Big portions. The half rack of beef ribs made 2 meals for me. Mac & cheese good, fantastic fresh mixed greens salad. Fried zucchini sticks and fried okra are tasty southern comfort foods ! All yummy ? ?.

So I am giving this place 5 stars because the customer service was superb. I got the trinity I think is what's it called. I loved my Mac in cheese and the garlic mashed potatoes. I however didn't like the 3 meats. They were very bland. The server wanted to know if I wanted the menu to maybe get something else. I kindly declined. Then the manager came over and wanted to cool me something else and I again declined. She was so sweet. Our waiter was amazing. You can tell they take pride in there food and they go above and beyond to make there customers happy. I would go back and trying something else for sure. The hospitality was the best.

Buyer Beware. I have been a long-time customer, but this may have been my last visit. I was trying to place my order online but met great difficulty so I called in our order. The hostess I spoke with was friendly and helpful (I thought). But, I wish she had mentioned the locations are owned separately (use different website addresses) and the prices differ a lot. When picking up my order is was at least 30% more than discussed over the phone and when I brought it up I was told tough, their website and menu is blah blah blah and I was looking at the wrong menu/website. Rude and very apparent that this mix-up happens often. Now, let's talk Burnt Ends. Exactly what we received, sliced ends of a brisket burnt to a crisp/old and inedible. Their coleslaw includes apple pieces, which can be delicious, but ours was very watery and must have been from the bottom of the bowl. And another disappointment was the cornbread mini loaves. They tasted terrible and presentation fell apart when try to plate a loaf...went to pieces. I will give KUDOS to the pork ribs!!! They were fresh, perfect, fall off the bone, fantastic!!! I can remember when this place was really great. Sad to see another local favorite bite the dust.Parking: The parking is adequate for restaurant size. ADA spaces provided.

Place reminds me of home so so damn much it hurts. They got Shiner on tap, and the ribs actually are Texas quality and style. The sides aren't the best, but they ain't awful. But the meat...God them animals died for a good cause.Do you want Texas BBQ? This is the best you're gonna find in Cali hands down. Lucille's is good. But this is authentic and amazing.

We’ve done dine in and take out here. The food is awesome. They sell their ranch dressing and BBQ sauce also which is a huge plus. The ribs and the brisket are fire and so are the loaded potato
