I love Bad Bakers and am totally addicted. It really is the BEST bakery in the Sacramento area, hands down, for donuts and lunch/dinner snacks. Their donuts are unique creations that are always fresh and super delish. Their kronuts (croissant donut) are absolutely amazing, best donut I've ever tried. The kronut holes with Nutella are my favorites. I also like that they serve mochi donuts, in addition to cake, crueller and injectible donuts.The Roseville Bad Bakers location near Sutter hospital is hands down the best Bad Bakers location in Sacramento that I have visited. The food is always cooked to perfection, especially the empanadas and hot dog kolache. I live closer to the Folsom Bad Bakers, but the Folsom location is not as consistent with the empanadas. Whenever we visit the Roseville location, the baddest baker of them all, Sheree, is always super friendly and cooks everything to literal perfection. My only complaint is that her free sample of the Staxx got me legitimately addicted. Hope that Bad Bakers does extremely well and the franchise explodes because I cant live without it, thats why I wrote this review. We need a Bad Bakers in every town!

The donuts look amazing! Such incredible options! But when I ate one, it tasted stale and dry. Definitely was not made that day, IMHO. I was hoping it would be better. Didn't turn out to be.

Good food. Too many bad experiences with not being able to order closer to end of their day. Do yourself a favor and only come in the morning. No point in coming towards the end of the day (like if they close at 7, come at like 5:30 the latest.). Some of my experiences “we’re saving these, we can only give you ten stack. , they were closed on a holiday more than an hour before their closing time posted on their door (holiday schedule).

I felt I was in a communist restaurant. They didn't want to serve me and what they did serve didn't look anything like the picture. When I said the bread is not toasted the clerk said. Yes it is toasted. When I lifted the top untoasted bread there was slivers of avocado. Not slices of an avocado. I don't know why they treated me so badly. I felt like a person in Hitlers Germany. I would like them to understand what they did and never do it to anyone else ever. Each person should be treated with dignity and respect. They knew the bread was not toasted, it didn't look like the picture. Could you put copies of the pictures so the cooks can see them? I was given a cheese sandwich with slivers of avocado and a couple of bacon bits. I paid 16.00. They wanted to argue white bread looked brown. I dont argue. I was there at 4 pm on Thursday 2-27-24. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I used to think people who complain were bad. Now I realize people do deliberately give poor service.

Our first visit was last month & it did NOT go well to say the least. However, the Señorita bread called me back - and this time around we were greeted by the friendliest women, who knew everything about what was on the shelves. Our mouthes were seriously on the floor on just how different our experience was this time around... Last time we were told so many things that were not true about fillers for donuts and the gal even forgot our bread. The lady this time kindly asked if we could tell the manager of our previous experience because they take those things very seriously. Again, I was taken back - I thought about emailing the owners regarding the service last month but life got in the way and I moved on.... So, I'm very happy we went back and now I can honestly say, we will be back again!! Their donuts and senorita bread and so delicious and the fillers add an extra yumminess to an already amazing sweet.

Review only for the Spanish Rolls. I frequent BAD Bakers in their multiple locations and almost exclusively purchase the rolls. This was the first time I've been to this location. Their rolls are no bueno. My husband and I have purchased the rolls for years and we know how the rolls are supposed to taste like and these rolls were stale and not sweet. Maybe it was just the batch that morning.

The señorita bread is SOOO good. Their donuts are over the top, but that's what they're known for. They're delicious, just very sweet. The service is always good here. Last time I went in I brought my 4 month old daughter, and the girl working was so sweet! Telling me how cute she was and asking how my husband and I met. (It was a slow morning there it seemed like) This wasn't my first time in and it won't be my last!!
