Totally awesome sammiches..probably the best I ever had.. yet way over the top, unnecessarily expensive, AND could use a bit of customer service hunts, or maybe even a course of classes on learning how to treat customers whom are paying out the botty for a sammich and drink. Think about managers. BTW, I referring to the Beach Hut Deli located on Foothills near the Pleasant Grove Blvd intersection. Great location, great food.. but not so great atmosphere for a new customer.

I wish they offered plain sourdough rolls or plain sourdough sliced bread since sourdough is also gluten free and it tastes so much better on a delicious deli sandwich than a big french roll. I just wish they would update their bread selection. Their unsweet iced tea is in a container that shares 2 other types of drinks coming out of the same spout to dispense the tea and it did not taste unsweetened at all. It actually tasted like it was contaminated with one of the other drinks so I had to pour mine out and get something else, I was not able to enjoy my iced tea so I wish they would come up with a better set up so they could just offer a delicious unsweet iced tea by itself in it’s own container, But that’s just my personal preference because it does not taste good at all in the container they’re currently using. Otherwise even the small size sandwiches are large and delicious, you will not walk away, hungry!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the environment is very cool and laidback, they have outdoor seating with a really cool greenbelt area so you can enjoy the wildlife while you enjoy your lunch. Come check it out today. You won’t be disappointed.

lesson learned, nachos at Beach Hut are not good. BUT, in general, Beach Hut has great food. Non traditional parings make their sandwiches different from other places. Hefty portions are can be hard to eat so share or learn how to unhinge your jaw so you can eat the sandwich. Can be a bit pricey but they have smaller sizes now that are more affordable. Great atmosphere and lovely outdoor dining area. Staff can be hit or miss...some are friendly and others are annoyed you are there.

Screwed my order up again! I took the time to tell the lady exactly what I wanted then I get home to find exactly what I didn't want on it; ( cream cheese) because It's easier for the lady to enter it in the system. If you want what you want on your sandwich I'd go elsewhere. Especially for the cost
15.95 for a regular size sandwich that's thrown together and squeezed extra hard on the wrapping. To top it off there's tomatoes that were soggier than my britches in July. Why these tomatoes were served is beyond me. Also paid for a small that came the same size as a regular. So why did I pay more for a regular? Get it together Beach Hut! Take pride in what you do. The application didn't fill itself out..

This was my go to place back in the 90s. But something has changed. My favorites back the day were Surfn Bird, Surfin Pig and shark bite. So we recently stoped in a got the pig and the bird for me and the wife. The sandwiches remain huge but flavor of the meats have changed. The Turkey had no flavor and Ham was sweet and thin. It was not like this back in the day when it was think cut meats. Also the bacon has shrunk and the bread is no longer a soft pillowy blanket to the meat. Dont get me wrong, I ate it, but didnt enjoy like I used to. I know things change but If I do come back I will order the High Tide only. Used to be a 4.5 place but now just 3.0
