Chandos never fails to please. Their food is amazing. This is not a full serve Mexican restaurant. This is an amazing taco truck in a building. All their food is fresh and flavorful. We eat regularly at the Roseville site and had them cater a wedding as well. Service is quick and always friendly. Today I ordered a family pack and had enough food to feed 8-10 people easily.

If you are a fan of the original Chando's in Sacramento, you will be tempted to try this place. You will likely be disappointed to find, however, that the prices and quality are worse. In Roseville the food is good but not great.
The original Chando's on Arden Way was shockingly good - a line of people standing outside in the weather in front of a window where you placed your order. Just a few dingy outdoor tables, but the food was cheap and excellent. It was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Sacramento. The long line frequently made me late returning to work, but the killer food was worth the risk of being reprimanded.
In the Roseville location, you order and eat inside, and the menu prices have gone up, while the food is just ok. Not a winning combination. I may still swing by in a pinch if I'm craving a mulita or some decent horchata, but I'm not going out of my way to visit Chando's in Roseville.

OMG I love Chando's. I live in Baja so I'm picky about my taqueria's but Chando's never lets me down. They are majorly yumilicious, and I get tons of yum attacks when eating their carne asada chicalis! Um Um Um.

The birria tacos were amazing, I would have been full on just the three tacos I ordered (a fish and an adobada as well), but we also tried a few other things. The lemonade was also perfectly sweet to my tastes, it was pre-packaged and supplied by a different local company I believe. I'm craving the birria tacos again, and the broth/sauce/ whatever it was that you can buy as a side to pour over. Pretty reasonable prices for individual items as well, I think the 3 tacos was under 15 and pretty filling, including chips and salsa.
