I was very excited to come to this speakeasy as I had heard high reviews. When we were arriving for our valentines reservation, we walked right past the place because it’s no longer a hidden bar. What used to be a candy shop is now a poorly decorated waiting area. We were taken back before our reservation to sit at the bar, and it took at least 20 minutes before we were served. I ordered their in house cosmopolitan that was delicious. While waiting inside, we noticed that the atmosphere was very bright and loud where we had the expectation of a dimly light area with a very intimate scene. We were finally seated upstairs for our 6 o’clock reservation after another hour. Our waitress was very lively and informative. We ordered a couple drinks and some apps. The meatballs were good, but unfortunately the bread under the meatballs absorbed all the sauce leaving the center of the meatballs dry. The arancini balls were exceptional, and I would recommend. We received our main courses at 7:50 (again our reservation was at 6) so we were extremely hungry. I ordered the bucatini, and my fiancé ordered the skirt steak. The bucatini was good but very salty. The skirt steak was the downfall of our night…. The steak somehow tasted like fish. The smell and aftertaste were atrocious. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes that were cold, and we had the macaroni and cheese which tasted like spray can cheese topped with cheddar ruffle chips. The worst part was the bill. The experience was not worth the money. We ended up leaving and going over to goose port to have appetizers and drinks to save our valentines.

It isn't a speakeasy. People walking in and out of the front door with no password. This place is also more focused on serving ridiculously overpriced meals. They even used to have a happy hour with some drinks being $10 and a $10 burger, but they decided they could make more money without a good happy hour
I had the most incredible experience visiting the restaurant last weekend. We were walked upstairs to be sat. Trisha was standing upstairs, greeting guests as they were sat. She visited our table and welcomed us, introducing us to our server. (A young gentleman whose name I don’t remember. Saturday 1/24 7:30pm) Trisha and our server were absolutely amazing. Our server may recommend recommendations for appetizers, entrées, and wine pairings. We were the last table Dining upstairs, and as we finished our meal, they dim the lights and turned up the music a bit. It was cinematically, romantic, and we had such a wonderful time. The food was absolutely fabulous. We had meatballs and artichokes as appetizers, the burger and “flavor town” pasta seafood dish as entrees, all delicious and beautifully presented. I will be back for the service and the food! Amazing experience!

What an excellent experience. Zeph is fabulous. Cocktails yummy and fun! Servers were attentive. And the food! Oysters yummy! Pomme puree so good! And we splurged for the wagyu on the salt block. OMG. We are still saying today it was worth every penny! Highly recommend! Sorry no pics of food. We were hungry. We will be back!

Great drinks and a fantastic dinner. The food and Trish our server were both excellent. The filet was perfect. I was impressed by the entire evening.

The overall experience was not good. The food quality for the price was poor, $57 for an 8 oz fillet that was small, maybe a top sirloin, and doubtful cut at that weight. The bathrooms were unisex, one had no sink and both had doors that did not lock? I thought that was strange. One redeeming thing, was our server, Philip. A fine young man who understood his job had a great personality and gave us good service.
We will not be returning. By the way, there is no candy store at the front. Just an empty small space with a hostess that did not smile.

I went in this afternoon and there were Roaches on the ground. I saw at minimum two. If there’s roaches in the dining area I can’t imagine how many are where the food is stored 😭😭

This place was awesome. Took my wife here for drinks and dinner And had a wonderful time. The food and service was top-notch. We sat at the bar, had a few drink drinks from the Bartender Chris. Then they had a very tasty dinner. We are already planning on going back in a few weeks with some friends. Thank you Daniello’s !

Not a speak Easy behind a candy store anymore. We drove an hour to get here and were immediately disappointed to see the store front looks like a dusty Disney style haunted mansion now. No candy store in sight. Maybe it said in the reviews by I missed it? Anyway food was great, cocktails are wonderful , Charles our waiter was kind and patient- think the look of Will Turner with the personality of Colonel Brandon.
The space is pretty cool. It was hard to get past our initial disappointment though. I get it. Got annoying for them or something like that. Go here! But don’t expect a hidden speak easy behind a secret door.

Neat place that takes itself a little too seriously. Our waiter/bartender we had was *incredibly* rude and pretentious. Any amount of enjoyment I had was completely overshadowed by the way in which me and my party were treated. If you’re looking for a classy place to hang out and grab drinks, I recommend going elsewhere where your patronage is more appreciated and you’re not treated like a second-class citizen.
I don’t mean to sound entitled as all that I expect out of a waiter is mutual respect, but the condescending attitude that my party and I received was anything but.
Will not be returning and will be telling all my friends and family the same.

We randomly received an email from this place, so we tried it out. The cool entry from the candy shop was a perfect lead into the 30s vibe of a secret establishment. We plan to go back.
