What was once a very clean and upbeat brunch spot has really gone downhill. We were sat at a wobbly table, menus tossed down without a word. The walls had peeling paint, and there were splatters of who-knows-what on both the walls and artwork. One of the glasses even had lipstick from a previous customer still on it, which was pretty gross.
The food is still decent and the mimosas are amazing, but with the overall unclean and unkept condition of the restaurant, I can’t help but question the cleanliness of the kitchen.

I was visiting from out of town and me and my friend decided to eat here for brunch on a Sunday. It was probably around 12pm. We got seated right away probably because there was only 2 of us. It seemed like they were pretty busy. The food was AMAZING!!! The 3 stars I decided to rate this place was because of the service. I understand you are busy that’s fine but at least communicate with us give us a friendly smile make us feel welcome. We ordered our food and drinks and our drinks came right away and then it seemed like they forgot about us. No one checked in with us for about 25 to 30 minutes! No water refills and no coffee refills, I had to ask. We were about to check in on our food and then to our surprise our food finally came!! When we were done with our food I had to ask for the check 3 times! Our waiter claimed he was busy and he was a manager and dealing with some kind of problem at the bar which to me is fine and understandable, things happen you are the manager I get it. He decided to finally take our cards and charged us the wrong items because he DID NOT give us our check FIRST to make sure everything was correct. We had to flag him down AGAIN to fix our checks. Like I said if they were a little more friendly and attentive and refilled our drinks then I would have rated them a 5 star. Just communicate, check in, be friendly and refill our drinks.

🥂 Brunch Bliss at The Mimosa House 🌸
The Mimosa House is one of my absolute favorite places for brunch whether it’s with my besties or someone special, it never disappoints! The food is always amazing and makes me so happy. I highly recommend the Crab Benedict with house potatoes SO good! They also have a great selection of drinks, and the service is always friendly and on point. There’s even a lovely little park right next to it with rose bushes and a beautiful palm tree, which just adds to the whole experience. Every visit here is a treat! 💛🌴🌹

Friday July 18, 2025. First time here. Walked in, not sure where I ran into the nice hostes, and she guided me back to the small hostel stand. I asked for a back corner seat where she took me with menue items.3 minutes go by and she brought water to my table. Review of the menu, all items look great! 12 minutes later, the server came over to take my order. He introduced himself as Tyler. Bar was filled with people (at firstI was going to sit therebut a woman'spursewas occupying the seat). There is outside seating, which one side was full when I was there. I ordered an Americano, but Tyler said the machine does not work ☹️. I went with the regular coffee. I then proceeded to order the Bacon and Eggs (scrambled soft) with Country Potatoes and one Pancake. Off David went to place the order. Coffee came back immediately, and coffee was very good and hot!
About 17 minutes later, the food arrived. The food presentation was very appealing. Pancake was large and delicious and probably should put two of the syrup containers with the pancakes. Eggs were cooked as I requested. Home style Potatoes were very good. However, the bacon looked and tasted as if it's been sitting in a warmer all morning. Should have taken it out the warmer and put on the flat top to try to get some sense of crisp instead of the Soggy texture. Good bacon to serve such a waste. I ask for an original mimosa. Mimosa came right away. Mimosa was PERFECT. MImosa here is not in a Champagne Flute, but in a Wine Glass filled to the top You only need one!! Very chilled and can actually taste the even balance of Champagne and Orange Juice!!.
The check arrived, which came to $42.56 plus $10 tip.
Will probably be back with a friend(s) for an update.

Love the food but hate the service. They have consistently horrible, slow service. It is not unusual to wait 20 minutes just to have someone acknowledge you and take your order and then another 30 to 40 minutes to get your food. What I am describing isn’t even on a particularly busy time of day. It is EVERY SINGLE TIME I have gone to eat there. Which tells me they need to train their kitchen staff and waiters better. I come here often and there are many reasons why. The staff feels like family and always takes good care of me. The OG burger is awesome as are the cobb salad, morning tacos, Nutella crepes, Folsom omelet. It's all good, ESPECIALLY the mimosas :) Mostly tho, love the crew.

Long wait for service and food. One person ordered just scrambled eggs and never came. Other tables got their food first.. everyone at our tables food got cold waiting for the scrambled eggs. Other guests dogs were barking loudly! I’m so disappointed!!! I took my mom and husband here for the first time to celebrate them. My mom was the one who never received her plain scrambled eggs. My brother’s food got soggy, mine and everyone else’s food cold. The manager came out and talked to us and only gave us a 15% off our ticket after waiting nearly an hour for scrambled eggs! The biggest waist of $120!!! I’m steaming!
