What happened to fins? One of my all time favorite fresh seafood restaurants !! The best fish in town , Clam chowder , potatoes , coleslaw ! I hope someone will reopen . So sad to see all three great restaurants disappear . Locally owned too !! We have to support locally owned restaurants .

This was the blandest fish dish I have ever had. Not one bit of seasoning on anything. Fish, bland! Grilled vegetables, bland! Rice, you guessed it, bland!

Their website states they are open Sundays but they are not open Sundays. Drove for over an hour, update your website it's not 1990 anymore!

Food is good but service is terrible. Darci never responds to catering requests.

first time here and we loved the food!

We did and the New England chowder was delicious, thick, well seasoned and full of chunks of clam. We also shared an order of crab cakes. They were breaded and fried and served very hot with a lemon wedge and tartar sauce. All went well with a glass of house chardonnay. Service was amazing considering there was only one server and one person in the kitchen. There are a few outdoor tables and Take Out is available.

There was just one lady working, but she was friendly and patient.Their sea bass was perfectly cooked, and they had very good fish and chips. We also got the clam chowder but that fell short just a little bit, it tasted like itbwas almost perfect.Highly recommend the fish and chips.I was also able to special order some fish, Florida grouper. It came in fresh the next day. They looked great and didn't have a strong smell.

Our experience didn't happen. You need to correct your website which says you open at 11. We were so disappointed to get there right at 11 and see a sign that says open at 11:30. We didn't feel like waiting a half hour and went elsewhere. We may be back at some point but we're out of the mood for now. Fix your notices everywhere!

Fins has been a neighborhood gem for years. I live less rhan 1 mile away. I had never been prior to today. Took my BFF here. He LOVED it and he is almost more picky than me. The food is fresh, hot, well prepared and simply excellent. Ashamed it took me so ling to discover it. A MUST when you are in the Granite Bay hood.

Not being from the area, this place was a little difficult to find mainly due to my GPS not being able to locate it properly. I visited two shopping centers before I found it. The interior looked new but did not stand out in any way. It had a cafeteria feel to me. I arrived at 12:30 pm and there were only four others sitting at three tables in a fairly spacious eating area. Back behind a half-wall I could see fresh fish in an enclosed case. To the right was a large board with the names of fish being offered written in chalk. I scanned it quickly and chose Blacked Swordfish. A waitress came immediately with a menu and after scanning it, stayed with my original thought-the Swordfish. It came shortly thereafter and was tasty. It came with a side and I chose vegetables plus coleslaw. I paid extra for a cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder was good and as I said, the Swordfish was tasty. But the vegetables were bland. No seasoning whatsoever. The same with the coleslaw, not bad, just not memorable. When I finished, I felt underwhelmed overall by the atmosphere and the quality of the food, as I paid $5.95 for the chowder and $29.95 for the fish. With tea and taxes, my bill came to $41.96. I don’t plan to return.

The fish is fresh and delicious. Nice lunch place. Loved the location on Fair Oaks Blvd. in Carmichael the best. All are closed now except the one on Sierra College Blvd. we don't care for the location but the fish is delicious.

Came here with my husband for anniversary and we were extremely disappointed. Not great on the taste. We were over charged and they didn't make it right. We were going to order to go but decided to eat in and already new what we wanted after viewing the menu online. The online menu clearly said the crab salad sandwich was 9.95 and the salmon entree was 16.95. Our bill came and I noticed after paying they over charged us. They charged us 14.95 for the crab salad sandwich and 23.95 for the salmon entree. The waitress who was the best part of the visit couldn't refund the difference and took my number for the owner to hopefully fix it. Doubt they'll call though. Worst anniversary lunch ever :(

Possibly the best fish 'n chips I've ever had! Local restaurant, SUPER fresh food and friendly. Kind of hidden in the back corner of a strip mall but not hard to find and definitely worth looking for.
