Firehouse Subs Pleasant Grove

This review is NOT about the store, but rather about the person who helped me. I ordered a large sandwich and they put it in their system as a medium sandwich (they even printed it on my receipt as medium). When they announced my name, they gave me a medium sandwich and I calmly explained to them that I ordered a large, the person made a sour face and told me that no I ordered a medium. After some explanation, the person VERY RELUCTANTLY AND ANGRILY agreed to remake it.

We've been eating at this Firehouse Subs location for a couple of years. We were given a coupon for free drinks or chips, and told that we could keep reusing it. The staff was always great -- personable, friendly, and efficient. The food always fresh and tasty, piled with meat and veggies. The restaurant was always clean and inviting. Unfortunately, something has changed. Those friendly employees are no longer there. The food was good, but there was less of it, and our coupons were no longer honored. In fact, we were told that those discounts were no longer being given. Service was extremely slow, and we noticed that the only workers were an adult couple. We recently learned that the ownership has changed, and assumed the new workers were the couple we saw. After a couple of visits, we decided that the place wasn't the same anymore and we'd likely not be back. While we were in the area yesterday, we decided to give it another try. The (new) employee, Shon, who took our order was a gem! He was so nice, had a great personality, a big friendly smile, and made our food pretty darn fast. I'm not sure if there were any other employees in the restaurant because Shon was the only person we saw. He was a busy man...prepping food, bussing tables, and emptying trash. And he never stopped smiling. Our food was again tasty and very close to our original experiences. If we go back to this location, it'll be because of Shon!

Clean, organized, fast, and fresh. Great daily specials. Great app as well, loved the Offers section, you know right off the bat the promotion you are using. It's not gimmicky like others hoping you miss it or hard to apply.

Always great at firehouse. The Hook and Ladder is my go to. It is pricey so can’t do it all the time.

Impossible to gauge how long you will wait...

Maybe give a heads up if someone comes in to order and there are 30 online orders in que ahead of them...

Food is good, however this location is terribly slow. Consistently takes over 20 minutes to make a small order even when they aren’t very busy

Amazing experience but very pricey. You can easily spend $30 a person for a sandwich. Kinda insane.

The first time I came here was good. The food was filling and they gave me a coupon for a free chips and drink with my next sandwich. When I came back only a couple weeks later, they said they no longer accept the coupon and confiscated it from me. Then, the sandwich was terrible and barely had any meat on it. A complete ripoff for a $20 sandwich. I will never be coming again!

I absolutely love the Hook & Ladder. I haven't been able to get myself to try any of the other delicious looking sandwiches on the menu because I crave this sandwich so much.
