Killer Nashville hot. The extra hot is as spicy as Dave’s Reaper level chicken. They don’t play here. Fries and sauce are great too.

Been coming here for quite some time, and always recommended to friends and family. But the last couple experiences have been dreadful, service wise. 1 month ago, ordered the 10 tender combo to go. The food was the worst its been in some time. Dry, not flavored well, and fries were stale. Last week, ordered the 10 piece again, and some tenders were half the size of the others, and fries not seasoned. Then this week, giving them a final shot, the chicken was great, but the service was bad. Only 3 dipping sauces for 10 tenders and missing fries? Then wanted to charge .50cents per sauce? Crazy! Will NOT be going back and would not recommend anymore.

I arrived at Taqueria Grill in Roseville (located in the Raley's parking lot) at 12:08 PM on a Friday. The restaurant was quiet, with no tables currently occupied, and I noted that the environment appeared clean.

Upon approaching the counter to place my order, there was a brief delay before a staff member attended to me. As it was my first visit, I informed the cashier. I ordered the two-piece chicken tenders with fries, requesting the mild flavor option. I then proceeded to the beverage station to fill my cup.

My order was brought to the counter at 12:17 PM. When I went to retrieve it, the staff member returned to the kitchen before I could request condiments. After a slight delay and a verbal request, the server provided ketchup packets and promptly went back to the kitchen area. At this point, I was the only patron in the front of the restaurant.

The chicken prepared here are NOT bone-in or crispy fried, which was a disappointment. The flavor profile of the chicken was underwhelming, lacking any discernible seasoning and exhibiting a somewhat unappetizing visual presentation. However, the chicken itself was surprisingly moist. The meal was served in a to-go container on a slice of bread with two pickle slices. The fries appeared to be pre-seasoned, and in retrospect, I should have requested no salt, as the seasoning adhered significantly to the fingers.

Based on this initial experience, I would suggest considering the addition of bone-in chicken wings with customizable seasoning options to cater to a broader range of preferences. Furthermore, an improvement in customer service attentiveness, particularly in ensuring basic needs like condiments are met promptly, would be beneficial. Without such changes, the long-term viability of the business may be challenging. I may return for a future re-evaluation to assess any potential improvements.
