Great atmosphere! They have a side room wthout music that is perfect for working and studying. The coffee is delicious and strong, and reasonably priced. Only downside is the food - $15 for a cold sandwich is awfully pricy. Just eat somewhere else before or after, and have a great time here :)
The gentlemen taking to order was amazing, he was funny and wanted us to tell him a joke. Neither of us had a joke but he made us laugh while he was stalling to print orders. I got a brown sugar latte and it was amazing. The bacon and brie toast was delicious. The apple and ricotta toast was delightful. Highly recommend fourscore coffee. Great atmosphere!
I did a Google search for the best scones in the area and it led me here. Tia (barista) helped me with her excellent recommendations and I ended up choosing both the apricot and blueberry scones and along with a cappuccino. The apricot was a first for me and it was a pleasant surprise, buttery and crumbly and rich with flavor. The cappuccino was absolutely delicious. Parking is a bit tight so be strategic when you go. I got lucky and found a spot right in front.
