I love this place! It's just down the street so it's very convenient to stop by, but they also have online ordering. The scallops, salmon, and tuna I've bought have all been top-notch. Customer for life!

Don’t go here unless you want FOOD POISONING. I was sick as well as my family after visiting recently. Food is most likely not being kept at a proper temperature. If I got food poisoning I at least want the food to be good, but it tasted like crap and made me feel like it too.

Great customer service, really liked the fresh trout I picked up. However, smoked salmon was terrible. Dried out and way tooooo salty (and I love salty).

Picked up some King Salmon an Stealhead Trout last week, extremly fresh, nothing like you would find at your local supermarket. They came out amazing on the smoker.

We decided we wanted some fresh quality lobster at the last minute and I called and the nice gentleman was heading this way anyway so he gave me free delivery so I bought an extra few pounds of other fish items. He showed up with a smile on his face with quality food we cooked that king Sam tonight and boy oh boy that stuff was amazing I think it's the best king out there super oily super fresh. Looking forward to the halibut tomorrow night and the lobster tails maybe next week This is the only place that I will buy seafood from ever, forever , the end....

Terrible service!!! They don't answer the phone even during the holiday. Have called three times this week and all I get is an answering service. Guess they are still working on a 1950s model. I try to shop locally but its impossible when the local merchants don't care.

Really cannot express how much our family loves SMOKED KING SALMON from Freshway Fish, but if I say we will be/are #Customers4Life... perhaps that helps to translate (*Big Grins*). During my first visit there, saw all the smokers out front and the aroma was just incredible. Since they're not a regular retail store and most of their business is either by delivery, farmer's market, or mailed directly via subscription, when we visited their (931 Washington Blvd, Roseville - (located on the backside rather behind the PLACER SPCA) wholesale location, it almost felt as if we had a new SECRET place unknown to most. One of my best friends, Derek, told me about their smoked salmon and highly recommended it bc he tried it at the downtown farmers market and instantly fell in love with their smokey flavors... To be upfront, so far we have only tried their two flavors of salmon - however, they also have steelhead trout, halibut, as well as seafood including Dungeness crab, ahi tuna, calamari, scallops, and giant prawns... You should also know, it's a small family owned and operated business - so they have a lot of pride and are passionate about what they do, with this in mind.. if you enjoy smoked fish, definitely consider this family's recipe for smoked fish... rarely do I want to try everything on the menu... but this is one of those times. You really don't what know you're missing...until you try their smoked fish - Mmmm super delicious!

Just bought their fish last Wednesday, Went home to cook it and it was the worst smelling fish I have ever had!! I definitely didn’t even want to try and eat it! For them saying it’s fresh it was definitely not and the price is not worth it when it’s that bad.. also the lady who is trying to sell it was saying it was wild, but when I got home I looked at the packaging and it said farmed...
