Power tripping bouncers Threatened to call the cops and have me “arrested” (yeah okay bro) for asking to speak with a Manager. I mean a lot of bouncers are d bags but this was next level.
Visually it’s appealing. However… the line is always slow going in, out of control drunk people seem to be getting worse & over crowded. Last time I was curious how they could not be over the limit of bodies. There is a second level but the additional price is crazy! Bartenders are nice and bathrooms are clean. So there are pluses. Hopefully it gets better
Goldfield is a kingpin of the greater Sacramento live music scene. They range from small acts traveling from abroad, all the way to platinum hit artists making a stop in the area to flaunt their skills and songs. If you are a live music lover of ANY genre, give their venue and sets a look!
Had to wait in line quite some time before the show. Really crowded, only way to see the band is standing up unless you are over 6 feet tall. Beer prices are not too bad though. I won't be returning to the venue. I suggest turning those TVs upstairs into monitors so you can see the show downstairs. If you're short or if you're eating, it's ridiculous not to use them for the customers upstairs, unable to see the show and it's too crowded to stand.
Great place, reminds me of all the small show venues of the 90's and 00's great time and staff is kind.
LA Guns rocked the house!.
All the staff were friendly. And the sound was perfectly mixed.
Enjoyed the live music
If you can find a show or artist you would like to see that will be at this venue, it is a nice location to go see them. There is no bad view. There was good bar service, and it was easy to get in and out.
Took my son to see a legend!!!!! Yngwie Malmsteen!!!!
They charge $3 if you want a soda to sober up, which is not safe, especially when there was just a family friendly event outside, and they clearly had equipment issues for the bands on stage. Also the security sucked, the lead singer had to catch a crowd surfer and I think the second one just hit the ground. Terrible experience, crowd was cool though, but the venue doesn't get credit for that

Easily one of my favorite venues. Lots of space and the sound tech really knows what they're doing.
Amazing venue!!! Lots of balcony space and friendly hardworking bartenders.
Small venue and odd layout but it’s nice
