Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

Very good costumer service very patent with me and my kids especially Gage which was a very kind and gave good service. The ice cream was over all very tasty. Recommend very much.

I had placed an online order for a different store location (one that was about 30 min drive from this Roseville location)

I was pretty embarrassed. As I asked her what I could do to, she simply said not to worry about it and made my order. She even asked me what my preferences were for the order! Incredible and Outstanding Service at this location!

HANDEL'S is the BEST ICE CREAM IN THE WORLD!!!

Staff are nice and let you sample, but ice cream just tasted plain and sweet… highly recommend going to Mojo’s and getting Gunther’s- a Sacramento certified classic. I never went back after the first time I went here it’s pretty disappointing.

Great service, excellent ice cream. The black cherry was awesome but the banana cream pie ice cream was next level...I will be a returning customer.

Handle’s is dangerous—in the best way.
They’ve nailed the sweet spot on price, portion size, and quality. If you have impulse control issues, prepare for an internal battle between Ego and Id. This place is the arena where willpower comes to die.

Luckily, there are sugar sherpas ready to guide you up Mount Indulgence. It’s an individual journey, but you’re never alone.

This is not the spot for anyone trying to “be good.” It’s kid-tested, parent-approved, and if you order the banana split like I did, you might even convince your doctor it was fruit-based wellness.

The best ice cream place in the world. Honestly, it tastes like homemade ice cream and the staff is super friendly. Beautiful place to hang out with family and/or friends. Enough room to sit inside and there are also tables outside. I love the location of this place as well, you can go for a walk to the mall or fountains. Great shopping place around. Highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it 😍

Had the circus animal cookie ice cream (forget what it's called), and it was really yummy. Been thinking about it since, so I'll probably be back sooner rather than later haha.

It was okay. Nothing really special about the ice cream. The place was super hot inside. Service was friendly and quick.

Holy moly it’s warm in there. Felt more humid than outside, and the temperature was the same. Fix or upgrade your A/C, this can’t qualify as safe working conditions, your employees looked miserable. I turned around and left before even ordering, which is a shame because I know the ice cream is great.

Edit: Saw another couple recent reviews saying the same—regarding your reply to those, this is the kind of day where you close the store and send everyone home until it’s fixed.

We went inside to order, but the AC wasn't working. It was thick and hot inside and became unbearable to be in. It felt no different inside than it did outside on a 98°day and was incredibly humid. Your poor employees looked miserable, red-faced, and sweaty. We left almost immediately to go elsewhere. Please ensure your customers and employees are safe and cared for. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke can occur in conditions like these on hot summer days. They should not have been required to work in such conditions.
