Huckleberry is what I would imagine if Denny's had an older sibling. You go there to kill your hangover, but ultimately, you know what you're getting.

I got the crab Benedict; the hollandaise was basic and lacked any flair. The crab cakes had a crab flavor but were mealy. The hash browns were just that: hash browns. Everything was as expected, mediocre.

I don't know why I keep trying this place just to be disappointed again. I had a great meal on my first visit to this Huckleberrys when it opened and have gone back 4 times now thinking it going to be good again this time.
Chicken and waffles should be hot crispy chicken.. this place serves it cold, soggy and chewy as jerky. Eggs cold and runny. The waffles were hot and smelled good but you only get a table spoon of maple syrup.
Eggs are an American Staple and everyone has their favorite way to have them prepared. I love Eggs of any kind as long as the whites are cooked. So I never order Sunnyside up or over easy Eggs. Every time I order over hard or over medium eggs this place serves them runny. Every damn time!
I am done paying for meals I can't eat.
Any restaurant is only as good as the people that make and serve the food.

Satisfying diner-type menu with a homespun Cajun feel. The fried green tomatoes were very crispy with a nice sauce. I had the chicken fried steak on biscuits with gravy. Again, very well seasoned and crispy. Staff was extremely friendly and happy. Zydeco music. Not many here this trip. We enjoyed our late lunch. Plenty of free parking.

There were six of us. Four of us got the pumpkin pancakes and loved it.p we enjoyed the pumpkin flavor. Our server Tracy was wonderful
