So upset to hear they are closing I've only had great experiences and food here. They will be greatly missed. Can't believe COVID took out one of the best restaurants in the area :(

Awesome restaurant and bar, great happy hour. However, heard that they will be permanently closing both the Folsom and the Roseville locations in mid-September! So, so, so, so, so, so, SAD. :( Loved hanging out, doing Happy Hour and watching Baseball & NFL. I will really miss the people, ambiance, and restaurant after they close. Great employees. :(

I was really excited to see this in the parking lot of our hotel. I hadn't seen this chain since moving from AZ. We looked on line and saw they offered delivery, and it was 100 degrees outside. I tried to order but the only option was take out. I called them and they said they only do delivery they door dash. Knowing that the delivery services take a large chunk of the price, we decided to order and walk over. I placed our order at 5:50 and it said it would be ready at 6. Surprised, but happy we walked over to the restaurant arriving a couple minutes before 6. We told a server we were there for a pickup. He went to check on our order and said we could wait in our car til it was ready. Uh, great idea, except no car to wait in. Our order was not ready until 6:20. Not a good time, standing in the sun in 95 degree heat. After we got to the hotel with our food, we unpacked and started eating. The drinks were great, but we didn't know they didn't have ice, so they were warmish. The sweet potato fries were perfect, still crispy. The burgers were not made as requested. Mine was supposed to have no lettuce, and they obviously tried to pick most of it off, but didn't succeed in getting all of it. Just a suggestion that the sauce for the burgers be put on the side so the customer doesn't end up with a soggy mess instead of a functional botttom bun. I will try the chain again when dine is allowed, but probably not this one.

Amidst these trying times, our family was reminded today that there still exists hospitality and thoughtfulness, and were very thankful to be extended both by Jenna, an employee of the Islands Restaurant at 1902 Taylor Rd, Roseville. Today, we found ourselves broken down on the side of the road, awaiting a tow truck that was not expected to arrive for another 30 minutes at best. It was 93°F outside and we were hot, sweaty, and restless. Jenna noticed us from inside of the Islands Restaurant and went out of her way to bring us each iced water even though we were not customers. She noticed our plight and her first thought was to offer comfort and refreshment in any way she could.Thank you Jenna, sincerely, for your thoughtful gesture, which was greatly appreciated given our circumstances.

Was in Roseville for work, brought my wife along so she can do some shopping , and we can make a day trip out of it visit friends and family too. Wanted her to try a burger, I wanted her to check out the menu, since I knew what I wanted I was ready. We know it's Covid-19 and things are limited, waiter insisted we scan the bar code on the table, I asked for a menu his response was we only have paper menus and have to throw them away after customers done with them, and scanning the bar code is the future, I told him I would like a menu so she can see, and we don't mind if it's paper. My burger came out well, I asked for medium or pink , they remade it came back out the same I just ate it. I should have just eaten the first one. Wings where good and the chips and salsa too. Just want to impress my wife with my raving about islands. Saw my bill my burger was taken off which I didn't ask for, because that's not my style to look for free stuff, which I wasn't told about by server or manager. So we just paid and left, just a little disappointed that's all not mad like islands other ones I've been too are good. I'll go to Folsom next time When I'm in the area again. One server in the patio by himself couldn't handle it with COVID-19 doesn't make sense if patio seatings all you guys have, he was in the weeds.

Food was great but due to limited seating we had to wait an exact hour to be seated due to people staying over 1 1/2 hours hanging out knowing people were waiting for a table. There were only 2 of us. Perhaps displaying a sign reminding people of that during these times, politely of course, would help.
Looooove the tempura jalapeño burger!!! The sauce that comes with the garlic fries is amazing! And I'm obsessed with the green bean fries!!! The workers are great

Service was fairly good, but when I got the burger I was pretty dissapointed, plus it's 20 bucks. If your gonna give me a 20 dollar, I would hope it would be better then the 7 buck burger I can get from In N Out.

For our 4th of July date we decided burgers was appropriate. But fun burgers so we gave Islands a try! And we were impressed. Super sweet host brought us to a table (inside?!? Dine in?!? YAY!!) we were quickly given waters. The menu was via QR code but you could get a paper one if desired. Super fun options but the spicy Kilauea Burger sounded best. We decided to get one and split it. We got it Medium Well instead of Medium and we agree that was a good choice, still pink and juicy but a toasty exterior. You can get white or wheat bun, we did white. Lots of pepper on that burger. Very unique and enjoyable. If you're not a huge fan of lots of pepper I wouldn't recommend it though. For me the fries were the biggest hit? Super crunchy, super hot, delicious. Buttermilk ranch really added a nice touch. Meal was a definite 5/5! And to top it off, super clean bathrooms. Like - great job there. Smelled great and for sure kept up on! Give this joint a go!
