I can’t believe they kicked out my favorite bartender, Mercedes. She was the best thing that this restaurant had. When I went in there just this past Tuesday I stayed for a little bit to enjoy the happy hour, but not even the happy hour can overcome the bad service that there is at this restaurant. My service was slow. My food came out cold and I was overcharge for what I thought was gonna be a good deal at happy hour. Fix up this management, please.

The food was extremely good, I've never had ribeye tacos and let me tell you, they were so good. I was disappointed on the portion size of the plate however the taste made up for the amount of food they gave you. I would definitely recommend checking out this place, the customer service was amazing everyone seemed very nice and welcoming.

Had a wonderful experience getting in on a Friday date night-
Food ordered:
- salsa trio
- fried plantains
- tajin fries
- chipotle taco
- tempura mahi taco
- combo plate with short rib enchilada, shrimp, and steak taco
- butter cake dessert

All of it was piping hot, great flavor, and texture

Great vibe for a girls night for cocktails, birthday dinner, or date night like my hubby and I did.

Alexis, was holding down the fort as manager and did a stellar job with table touches and keeping the energy for the team.
Abe was our waiter and had great recommendations on how to decide from all the delicious choices.

We’ll be back!

Adalbertos Mexican Restaurant

Food was disappointing, Hefty prices for extremely small portions. The enchiladas were good but definitely not worth the price. Ordered the tortilla soup on the side and was just broth with toppings. Price point extremely high, Patron I dined with orders the prime rib tacos. Very small and left hungry.

I’ve eaten at the Roseville location a few times now, and every visit has been a great experience when it comes to the food. The entrées; especially the carnitas tacos and chipotle shrimp, are consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. It’s definitely on the pricier side compared to more casual Mexican spots, but the quality and presentation make it feel like an elevated take on traditional dishes. You can tell care goes into the ingredients and execution.

The atmosphere here is modern, bright, and lively—great for date night, brunch, or just catching up with friends. I’ve come for both daytime and evening visits and always enjoy the space. It’s one of my favorite local spots for a relaxed but upscale vibe.

As for the drinks: they’re fun and come in a variety of creative flavors, but I do find them a bit too syrupy and sweet overall. While they taste good, they tend to lack balance and are heavier on sweetness than on the tequila or spirit itself. If you enjoy sweeter cocktails, you might love them—but for those who prefer a more spirit-forward or well-balanced drink, it may not quite hit the mark.

Service has always been friendly and attentive, and overall, the dining experience is consistently solid. If you're looking for delicious food in a stylish setting with a lively atmosphere, La Popular in Roseville is definitely worth a visit—just know the drinks may lean a little sweet depending on your taste.

What a disappointment! We've been coming here ,brought friends on memorial day and been telling everyone about the amazing nachos and they've taken them off the menu. The bartender didn't offer to maybe make a version for us given the fact that most ingredients seem to be used in other menus items. We also asked the bartender about the Lorenza salsa that came with the nachos and we loved it. Two other bartenders have told us it was called Lorenza salsa. We were thinking we'd buy some to go or order something that is served with that salsa but today, the bartender told us he had never heard of it and so we left without lunch. Definitely not coming back! Maybe this is why there was not one other guest besides ourselves in this restaurant. Too bad!
