Their food selection has been very good for the past 20 years we've been eating there. Service is top notch, and the restaurant itself has a French-like atmosphere. We spend our special occasions there, like holidays, birthdays, anniversaries. We bring our friends their when they are looking for a nice place. Also, it is quiet, which is great when thinking about some other places we've chosen to eat.

My siblings and I, with the help of several others, threw a birthday party for our mother. Mary was amazing and very attentive. We'll definitely come back when we're in California. Thank you!

Food was pleasant, enjoyed the escargot the most. Excellent bread, bought a loaf to take home!

My friend wanted to take me out for a belated lunch and she suggested to have lunch here since I've never been. It was a rainy day and I wanted something warm and she said they had good French onion soup so I was excited to try since it was one of my favorite soups! The ambiance was beautiful with nice decor. The server we had was friendly and polite. She was helpful with suggestions and she came to check on us a few times so service was attentive. The food was ok because I expected it to be more flavorful. More on the bland side and portions were small for the price! My friend got a salad with her chicken croissant sandwich. The salad was full of GREENS and a few cucumbers and tomato hidden in there somewhere. She said the ranch dressing was really good and it was after tasting a little. My Ruben sandwich looked ok but barely had any meat (a few thin slices) not enough sauce inside. It was in the dry side but flavor was good. Expensive sandwiches for lack of portion. My French onion soup looked promising but it was more sweet than savory. Cheese was delicious but the soggy bread under soaked up the soup. Caramelized onions were good texture and soft. My friend's sandwich seemed ok and very flaky that every bite she took there would be crumbs everywhere. We enjoyed each other's company and it was a cute French restaurant. I would come here just for the ambiance for a special occasion or celebration. I'll come back for dinner with my husband for a date night and give it another try.

They put my party of 3 way in the back next to a birthday party of 8, and an anniversary party of 10. So loud we couldn't talk. On top of that they sat us at a round table for 8. We had a reservation but when we got there, they stared at the seating chart trying to figure out what to do with us. And that's how we ended up where we did.I asked for coffee, he brought it. But there was no spoon to stir it.

Great service! Ambiance is welcoming. It can get a little loud when the place is packed. The French onion soup is a Must. We did have an issue with one meal, but they were More than accommodating to resolve the issue. Great place.

Seated relatively quickly, served the first round of drinks and then sat and waited for over an hour before anyone came to check on us. Food was meh, manager came to check on us and when we expressed our disappointment, couldn't care less. I guess if you don't care about sitting for 2hrs with empty glasses waiting to be served bland food, this is the place for you.

Nice ambiance , but service and food needs improvement, my son wanted to go there for his bday so we were excited to try the restaurant out, I had the Salmon dinner , the fish was ok but the side of rice tasted like plastic , they also forgot to bring my grandsons dinner . The staff was really nice but they did seem busy and may have needed more help

We showed up 15 min. early for our reservation and was seated right away. Water and bread was brought immediately. Our server, Eric was pleasant and was on his game. We ordered the crab cakes which were just ok. The entrees were next and were taking a very long time, but the rack of lamb and beef wellington was ordered which was taking a while which meant it was fresh. The lamb was tender and good. Beef wellington was tender and cooked to order. The lamb was ordered with the au grarin potatoes, however came out with petite whole potatoes. Eric noticed and very attentively brought the correct potatoes. The broccolini was tasty and the carrots were cooked perfectly. We ordered dessert which consisted of creme brulee and the apple caramel bread pudding. Both were very good. We have been to a few pretty bad places in recent months and agreed that we would return based on the experience and food we received.

Cocktails were watery, meat was over done, asked for rare.

My husband and I were given a gift certicate to La Provence, so we were looking forward to trying someplace new to us. I could write about the food, service, and ambiance; however, let me say that all that was moot because my husband and I were shuttled off to an out-of-the-way booth next to the noisy kitchen even though the restaurant was 90 percent unoccupied. (The nearby walls were quite stained, by the way.) We are senior citizens, and I suppose old folks bring down the vibe of a restaurant or something like that? It was our 50th wedding anniversary so thank you, La Provence, for spoiling it.

Popular spot for Happy Hour. Short wait for a spot at the bar. Excellent cocktails and appetizers!
